Gutter Language By Some Igbos—Part 2

Seems some people just find it impossible disagreeing without being disagreeable!

I find no reason to keep repeating that my comments are no less lenient on Yorubas... or some other ethnic groups. But it seems fixed ideas are so hard to break.

I still wonder why NOT ONE SINGLE IGBO MAN said a word on my article admonishing the Oba of Lagos when he threatened to fling all Igbomen into the lagoon!

For there is something to be said of men so capable of blaming but so incapable of praising!

Of course, foul language cuts across board...pervading all tribes. To say otherwise is just unscientific!

You do not have to mention that word before some IGBOS pounce on you. Just say something about an Igbo man in authority...and they bathe you in gutter language!

Perhaps my rare pains for them is their prime position to kickstart our nation's technological revolution.

I think these person are simply emotional and overraecting! if events of the past like the civil war are contributory to this mindset, they must deal with the past and move on!

And if IGBOS would for instance, persist in protectionism, why pounce on persons who merely mention the fact. Cow him down with aggravated and aggregated foul language? Bandwagon or mob effect? The only panacea for people not to say is not to do!

That many people don't say these things for fear of synergized insults does not mean they don't see them, like them, not affected by them...or do not form opinions about them!

Many people have ceased to comment about IGBOS. Even I, in my acclaimed resilience, am wearied by these unending repetitions!

It neither does anyone any good nor serve any purpose to be viewed with suspicion anywhere he turns....
