The friends of Nollywood all over the world must be turning on their super-status alerts as much as their Nigerian colleagues in achieving milestones outside the world of acting.

Some days ago, Nigerian actress, Omoni Oboli had the rare opportunity of interviewing more than a dozen African presidents, now Ghanaian actor and friend of Nollywood, John Dumelo, has revealed his tour of a past president of Ghana.

Unlike his Nigerian counterpart who interviewed the presidents, John Dumelo decided to tour on the life and times of one of Ghana's beloved sons of all time, Kwame Nkrumah.

Still in the excitement, he revealed that he was given exclusive rights to visit the Guinean home the late president, Kwame Nkrumah, he lived when the coup toppled his government in February 1996 in Guinea.

Sharing a picture of himself in front of the house of the late president, he said, "Was granted exclusive access to the house in Guinea Dr. Kwame Nkrumah lived in when he was overthrown in 1966. He was away in China when the coup happened and when asked where he wanted to go. He said, 'Guinea.' He was made Honorary President in Guinea till he passed away 1972."

He also visited with the former first lady of Guinea, Hajia Andre Toure, the wife of the first president of Guinea. He disclosed that the visit had the humbling effect on him.

"Was humbled to have a meeting with the former First Lady of Guinea Hajia Andre Toure. She was wife of the First president of Guinea Sekou Tourè. It would interest you to know that Sekou Toure made Ghana's first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah, co-president in Guinea after he(Nkrumah) was over thrown in the feb 1966 coup," he added.
