Gutter Language By Some Igbos

The unwary may be miscued by the antics of few persons who arrogate to themselves the onus to act as defenders of Igbo cause.

They are usually the illiterate hawkers and peddlers of cheap wares and foul language.

They have limited grasp of english. They are pressured by the need to read posts fully, so they lurch on to threads to foul things up.

They are as eager to splash us with gutter words as they equally do to their discerning cultured educated kinsmen going as far as calling them betrayers and bastards! Ask Onyekachi Ubani...

Any wise person should know that the quality of his public comments would rub off on his kith and kin. But these few Igbo illiterates do not care about the lasting impressions they leave in the minds of their readers as they freely dispense gutter language!

We should not bother ourselves with these few men who are a sure disgrace to the Igbo nation...

This illiterate fraction of the Igbo nation nothing wrong in Jonathan's government!

From the voting pattern in the last election right down to post-election comments, this sordid pattern undeniably persists!

Of course, they are entitled to their opinions...but when they so relentlessly intrude onto threads to sing familiar songs of calling blue black just because their sons are under criticism for wrongs done, it somehow wears down other discerning readers!

The question is: Must you defend....tooth and nail the crimes of a fellow...just because he happens to be your kinsman?

One or two incidents of such false testimonies may be excused....but almost every time such Igbomen comment on the Jona team, they see nothing wrong!

Things are so bad in the country and people are hungry...and angry! Perhaps I should beg these people to kindly stay off my threads!

I am allergic to all bigots! Your tribe matters little to me! I would have said exactly the same thing or even used harsher words if my targets had been the Yorubas or some other ethnic groups!

Some of them who are strangers to me should ask those who know me about my comments on Tinubu, Fashola, Amosun, Oshinbajo...or even the Oba of Lagos.

When I came down hard on the whole Oba of Lagos for their sakes, they all pretended to be blind and deaf.

Not one of them acknowledged my stiff indignation to the monarch's threat to fling all Igbos into the lagoon!

Very funny bunch!
