APC-BUHARI GOVERNMENT TO INHERIT EMPTY TREASURY, PDP DESTROYED NIGERIA IN 16 YEARS.

That the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ruined Nigeria in 16 years, is staled news but what is news at the moment is the whopping N4.1 Trillion Naira the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Buhari's administration will need to source for the payment of salaries of workers in the federal civil service, agencies and departments.

One wonders if the out-going Jonathan administration meant well for Nigeria and Nigerians. How on earth will a government which claim to have performed beyond expectations of Nigeria to owe workers salaries running into several trillions of Naira? The story is the same at the State levels where corrupt Governors had to borrow billions of Naira to pay workers salaries.

In Delta State, Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan looted the treasury for so many reasons. First, he sponsored the famous SIR TONY OBUH's gubernatorial ambition, using Delta State funds, human and material resources to prosecute the failed agenda. He also spent Delta State funds in prosecuting his Senatorial ambition which also crashed like a pack of cards.

Uduaghan's appetite for radical spending of state resources also prompted him to partially bank rolled Senator Ifeanyi Okowa's gubernatorial campaign, providing security, logistics and human resources of state. He also pumped billions of Naira on the Asaba International Airport which today has been declared sub-standard by the Federal Ministry of Aviation.

He also spent several billions of Naira in upgrading the Delta Broadcasting Service, especially the Television Stations which today are on-and-off the air for lack of signals and obsolete equipment. Gov.

Uduaghan and his men crumbled Delta State while they smile to the banks as Billionaires of the 21st century.

Today, Delta State like the central government of the PDP borrowed several billions of Naira to pay workers salaries and to run government. On top of the huge indebtedness of the State Government, Mr. Governor is busy gallivanting across the country receiving heavily sponsored and undeserved "Awards" to cover his shame.

Of a truth, Governor Uduaghan is the most unimpressive of all the civilian Governors that have ruled the State. And the bitter news is that one of PDP's cronies, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has been smuggled-into-power through massive "rigging" to further inflict pains and sorrow on the people of Delta State, though his stay at the UNITY HOUSE will be short-lived. Time shall time, and I will be justified in the near future.
