ROE ON MY TOE

Source: Mr. Adeola Ikuomola

Roe on my toe like reddish rose
Reddens my coats and neck ties
To file and sharpen the sun rays
With the rhymes of my schemes

The ten toes of the toiling toads
Paraphrase the horrible battery
Exploring the climatic mysteries
Like the palletised wind cruisers

The rare raiment of the rainfalls
Spread on the colouful rainbow
Exposes the wobbling waterfalls
In the diadem of the ringed rays

Bakers break under the pan rays
Like explorers scaling the clouds
To stitch the ribbon of the valley
In the nerve centre of their lochs

There is a roll call on my red rose
The call off duty to wear and tear
Here the lord in lovers is born old
Here beauties embrace dump ash
