Buhari Campaigner In Adamawa Apologize To Jonathan For Conniving With Elder State Men In PDP To Fail Him

The Media Director for Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization in Adamawa state, Alhaji Uba Dan, Arewa has apologized to President Goodluck Jonathan for the role played by Adamawa PDP in the just concluded general elections defeat in favor of Buhari.

Uba revealed that the failure of President Goodluck Jonathan is as a result of selfish and ill advises adhered to by some Adamawa elites rallying around him in the villa.

The former campaign director said his conscious is pricking him to led Jonathan and whole world know, the Adamawa state political gladiators have help in ruining and scuttling the chances of him becoming the president of Nigeria. He therefore needs to apologize on behalf of Adamawa people for the wrong advises given by by the state stack-holders

Dan Arewa in an apology letter written to President Jonathan made available to Newsmen in Yola,said that Jonathan would not lost woefully if he did not yield to the ill advise give to him by those senior citizens from Adamawa who have wrong motives and surrounds against any one who might have good advises for him

He said that ousted Governor Murtala Nyako had earlier warned President Goodluck Jonathan to be mindful of those people during the PDP crisis that finally led to defection of five governors to the opposition party (APC)

He also observed that the politicians misled the president into believing that they were popular and can deliver PDP in the Presidential and Governorship elections but they failed.

"Jonathan is a nice person but those around him particularly from Adamawa were the ones that mislead him and cause his failure", Arewa said in the statement.

Arewa recalled that in 2011 presidential election, he and Nyako delivered Adamawa to Jonathan just as they did this time around to Buhari, adding that the development proved that Nyako to be a more reliable and responsible person for Jonathan have relied on.

He commended Jonathan for his show of statesmanship by conceding defeat and making the election one of the outstanding one in Nigeria.

" By that action, Jonathan has doused serious tension in the country making him to stand out as a man of peace who other African leaders need to emulate", Arewa said.
