Trouble For Ada And Opara Imo

There seems to be more snag for the winners of Opara and Ada Imo 2013, Mr Kenneth Nwadike, and Annabelle Amadi, as Ndi Opara na Ada Imo the Umbrella name covering the Imo cultural models has passed a vote of no confidence on them.

In a letter made available to the press during the weekend, the due were accused of anti -Rescue Mission activities and other gross offences which was highlighted and culminate in passing the vote of no confidence on them both.

The letter which were signed by its president, Alakwem Chidubem, Vice president, Onyeoyibo Ogechi, and the organising Secretary Madubata Micheal, quoted a publication in an Owerri based News paper with the title ‘ OPARA, ADA IMO DUMP RESCUE MISSION AGENDA SET TO JOIN IHEDIOHA’ the publication dated 3rd March, has it that the due of Opara and Ada Imo out of frusturation in fuesing the structure into Rochas campaign Organisation dicided to move over to Ihedioha’s camp in PDP, saying that their voice could not be heard in APC.

Speaking with this reporter, the group Vice President accused the duo of been out of limbosince grabing the elusive titles in Imo state. She said their unenthusiastic leadership has hampered the activities and dreams of the organisation, since they could not carry most of their project without the presence of their leaders.

Miss Ogechi stated that the duo could not utilise their office and vast oppurtunity created for them, couple with the car and cash presents from His Excellency which would have become an advantage to them.

She expresses nasty over the intention of the due for coming “back to reap where they did not sow now that Rochas has won, they want to come back and enjoy the labour of others”.

In the letter, Mr Kenneth Nwadike was accused of deliberately walked-out on the organisation’s meeting which was called by a Government functionary, Rosemary Okere. When he was summoned over his comment that he has gotten all his entitlement from Imo state government and that the organisation can go ahead and do whatever they want without him.
