Jonathan Doesn't deserve Peace Award,BOT chair -ISOKO YOUTHS

The Isoko Vanguard For change,a Political pressure group in Isoko ethnic nationality Of Delta state has strongly opposed the plan to honour President goodluck Jonathan with Peace ambassador Award or elevate him to the chairman of Board of trustees of the People's Democratic Party (PDP)

Spokesperson of the group,Ekomeko Gilead Omoha who disclosed the stand of the vanguard said Jonathan does not in anyway deserve such honour.

Omoha who expressed dissapointment at the plan noted that Jonathan inherited the fortune of the party and that instead of ensuring its growth,rather forced the party to abysmal failure at the just concluded Presidential election and wondered why failure should be honoured.

According to the groups spokesman, the call for the removal of the National Chairman of PDP,Adamu Mu'azu, was because of his failed outing at the election and that decency, fairness and equity demands that Jonathan who is the arrow head of the party's failure be treated alike, Instead of elevating him to BOT chairman

"It is unfair to honour failure and it is also unfair to treat Mu'azu and jonathan differently", he stated.

The group equally urged the United Nations not to give President Jonathan the award of peace Ambassador,saying he did not merit such a honour.

"The only achievement of Jonathan was his willfull acceptance of his failure and that disgraceful performance does not earn one a merit award as high as Peace Ambassador,unless UN is out to elevate failure instead of Merit" he stated.

The group lamented that jonathan could not rescue the nation from Boko Haram which led to the death and maiming of thousands of innocent Nigerian citizens under his watch and that his administration witnessed massive failure in terms of infastructural development

It further stated that virtually all parts of the Nation are engulfed by insecurity,militancy and cultism such that Nigeria has Never experienced in it's history

"This was a man who squandered the fortunes of the Nation and placed a debt burden of over $60 billion Dollars on the nation,such a person in no way deserves such honour" the group maintained.

The spokesman further said"Jonathan accepted that his Government failed in developing Niger delta,his own region and that as a President,he was caged for 16 years.The only way to help him is only to bring him out from the cage and not to honour him because he is a failure"
