Mu’azu resigns as PDP Chairman

By The Citizen

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),  Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has tendered his resignation.

His resignation is coming on the heels of calls by party chieftains for him to quit the office following the woeful performance of the party in the just-concluded national elections.

TheCitizen was reliably informed that his resignation took effect immediately.

Also , it was reliably gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the Chairman of PDP Board of Trustee (BoT), Chief Anthony Anenih to resign his office as the BOT Chairman.

However, it is remains uncertain whether Anenih has accepted to resign.

Details later.
