Delta 2015: Card Reader Exposes Okowa, PDP And Inec Compromised Officials

The struggle to rescue Delta State from the 16 years of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) misrule and reckless corruption is total. There is no going back, we just have to keep pressing forward until Deltans are liberated from the shackles of PDP bad governance in the state.

The just concluded elections opened a new page in Delta politics as the All Progressives Congress (APC) put up a good fight and rattled the PDP and the Labour Party (LP) till the wee hours of April 9, 2015. It was tensed and highly competitive but the PDP rigging formula reared its ugly head once again.

Three days to the gubernatorial elections, rumours rented the air that PDP master riggers have commenced the disbursement of N50 million to each Local Government Areas across the state to buy votes. Behold, they sent out evil agents on a door-door basis sharing clean Naira notes to the same people whose massive oil wealth was stolen through the back door by PDP cronies. The poverty of Deltans is grossly attributed to PDP misrule in the State.

The PDP formed a strong alliance with the Labour Party with the sole intention of criminally allowing PDP to allocate votes to it and the APC because they were in possession of the original result sheets. Thus, Labour Party coming second in the fraudulent election is to senselessly send the signal that the APC and its candidate did not do well in the election. Alas, Deltans are no fools, they saw with their eyes the fire power of the PDP and thuggery which crippled the electioneering process.

The truth is that Deltans voted for APC and not PDP or Labour Party during the Presidential and gubernatorial elections. Facts available at the moment testify to this claim. The PDP allocated votes to itself, the Labour Party and the APC in Delta State, period!

The certified true copy of the CARD READERS captured voters accredited shows that nearly 400,000 accredited voters were added to the figures announced by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Nothing near a Million voters were accredited by INEC as already indicated by the CARD READERS. How come over one million Deltans voted during the gubernatorial election of April 11 when the CARD READERS only captured a little above 700,000 voters?

APC and its governorship candidate, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor (OON) will not rest in their oars until justice is done. Deltans are praying and are optimistic that victory will come their way at the end of the legal tussle. They voted for CHANGE and that CHANGE they must get. They are entitled to it after 16 years of poverty, joblessness, infrastructural decay and socio-economic backwardness. APC and its candidate prayers at the Tribunal is that the gubernatorial election should be cancelled for a fresh election in the state.

PDP has been exposed and Deltans will not allow victory through massive rigging and vote buying. Our state and its progress must be anchored on righteousness, sincerity and transparency. Political vipers will never again be in charge of political leadership in Delta State. It is a TASK that must be done. All hands must be on deck to end PDP misrule.

Olorogun Emerhor, the Progressives and the APC will keep pressing forward through the instrumentality of the rule of law and civilized engagements to rescue Delta State from the PDP deadly and retrogressive socio-economic stronghold.
