Nollywood actress and TV presenter, Iretiola Doyle, as disclosed that at her children's matured age, she still censors what they watch on television.

Reasons she gave is that for some time, she never liked most of the Nigerian movies theme as it was not proper for young kids to watch such.

She appreciated the fact that the industry has grown fast overtime with good storyline. “There are now fantastic indigenous content that my children watch. And Nollywood has got a whole lot better. My kids are heavy consumers of Nollywood movies. They are older now and yes I still monitor what they watch. It's my responsibility to do so.”

The actress further revealed that there are some of her works she does not allow her last daughter who is 11 years of age to watch because of some certain scenes in the movie.

“There are some of my movies I wouldn't let my last girl watch unless some portions are taken off not because I am ashamed of it but because I just don't think she is old enough to watch them. I do not apologise for my career. I do not apologise for the characters that I chose to play. I am an actress and it is my duty to portray that character to the best of my ability,” she told Thisday.
