MTV Base April Artist of the Month, Patoranking delivers epic ragga freestyle on this week’s episode of the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten as this week's co-host with VJ Ehiz.
The popular dancehall artiste who is in a boisterous mood after seeing his song ‘Daniella Whine’make its debut on the chart at number four, goes on to include a shout out to MTV base in his impressive freestyle performance
On the countdown proper this week, The Mavins surge three places from number four last week with ‘Looku Looku’ to knock Davido’s ‘The Sound’ featuring Uhuru & DJ Buckz to number two while ‘Woju’ by Kiss Daniel maintains its number three spot from last week.
Across the rest of this week’s chart, it is sheer pandemonium as a total of five tracks make their debut, meaning that five tracks from last week’s countdown have fallen off the chart.
New on the countdown this week are ‘Jangilova’ by Sheyi Shay which comes in at number nine,‘Bottles’ by Sean Tizzle coming in at number eight, ‘Mutumina’ by Ice Prince at number seven, ‘Tonight’ by DJ Xclusive featuring Banky W& Niyola at number six and of course, ‘Daniella Whine’ by Patoranking which is the highest placed of this week’s debutants at number four.
Dropping off the chart this week are Olamide’s ‘Falila Ketan’, Skuki’s ‘Gbemileke Remix’, Tilla’s ‘Mawobe’, Kcee’s ‘Turn By Turn’ andFlavour’s ‘Ololufe’ featuring Chidinma.
Burna Boy’s ‘Rockstar’ also looks on the verge of leaving the chart as it drops eight whole paces from last week’s number two position to number ten this week, while ‘Collabo’ by P-Square featuring Don Jazzy moves up two places to number five this week.
This week’s ‘Hit or Miss’ track is ‘Bonny Face’ by Dumex and the week’s throwback song is ‘Kabo Bii Chicken’ by Reminisce.
