Jonathan sacks Kasali as PEF Executive Secretary

The Executive Secretary of Equalisation Fund, PEF, Mrs Sharon Adefunke Kasali, has been booted out office by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Her sack was announced on Tuesday in A statement by the President's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, on Tuesday, which announced Kasali’s removal also named the Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs Asabe Asmau Ahmed, as the new person in charge at PEF.

Kasali has been the Executive Secretary of PEF since 2007.

President Jonathan also approved the appointment of Denzil Amagbe Kentebe as Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Management Development Board, NCDMB.

The new Executive Secretary of PEF, according to the statement, hails from Niger State and holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, respectively.

The Presidency noted that Ahmed is “expected to put her years of experience in public service to good use in re-engineering, repositioning and re-invigorating PEF for present and future challenges.”
