For showcasing high sense of political maturity, decency, decorum, sacrifice, loyalty and support to the present Rescue Mission administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha in the state, the Speaker, Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has been described as the political role model of Imo youths, as well as the stabilizer of the state polity.

The state Coordinator Network Of Imo Youths, Barr Amaefula Amadi, who stated this while interacting with media men, in Owerri, maintained that the political sagacity of the Speaker has, to a large extent, enabled Imo youths participation in politics as well as, guaranteed the relative peace currently being witnessed in the state.

Barr Amadi, while regretting that Uwajumogu’s humility and generosity will be missed by APC members across the state, as he bows out as the leader of the state’s legislature, said that the strong political will of the Speaker has gone a long way into integrating the three dominant political parties in the House namely; APC, PDP and APGA into an indivisible entity with a common mandate to deliver first-class services to the people of the state.

The youth leader, also pointed out that the enduring synergy in the state Assembly has metamorphosed into a more cordial and robust relationship between the executive arm of the state government, adding that such philosophy initiated by the Uwajumogu led state Assembly, no doubt, gave the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the unhindered support to embark on the numerous life-changing policies and programmes intended for the betterment of the people of the state.

Barr Amadi, further applauded the visionary leadership role the Speaker has continued to play as the problem solver, stabilizer and energizer of APC party faithful’s and non-party members across the state, maintaining that Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, has remained a common factor in the politics of Imo state by rejecting the People Democratic Party, PDP 3billion naira offer to impeach the performing Governor of Imo state, an offer he said will be difficult to turn down by most Nigerians.
