Since May 2013 when I met Bishop Leonard Nwoama Umunna one on one during the first Youth GOSEC programme, he organised at the Bible Life Church Cathedral headquarters, he has able to prove his worth in ministerial leadership to Mindset Media Limited and Mandate Newspaper.

Going by his astronomical rise in ministry, which I see as my valuable mentor with credibility, he has able to affect lives positively. By June 25th, 2015, Bishop Umunna would be 61 years on earth but with his priceless legacies and by September 2015, he would be 51 years on the pulpit without scandal or defeat.

Having met some couple of old and young pastors in Nigeria, I discovered that Bishop Umunna’s calling has intellectual integrity than some of the new generational acclaimed pastors who only pursued worldly desires than maintaining their integrity in ministry. Mindset Media Limited is one media in Nigeria that works for pastors with integrity like Bishop Umunna who has become a sole supporter of this noble media in all ramifications. He believes that the future is better than today if a real man of God possesses the characters of humility and credibility, heaven is assured.

It is difficult to see the kind of Bishop Leonard Umunna in Nigeria whose prophecies in Nigeria has never hit the cross bar than the prophecies coming into reality. His books are worthy to be read in Nigerian libraries and bookshops across the country while his gospel songs are all about salvational liberation. One of his messages preached recently when he said many pastors have deviated from the gospel of Jesus Christ which Mindset Media Limited tagged as ‘Yahoo Yahoo Pastors’. He is not a bishop that runs after wealthy politicians or government officials but rather declared to his veritable congregation that his pulpit was not met for political exaltations or campaigns in just concluded general elections. Bishop Umunna has laid a priceless legacy for his biological children and the ministry over the years. One thing you cannot take away from Bishop Leonard Umunna is that he does not run a tribal ministry but prefers to work with people of true calling than fair weather Christians who only come to the house of God for miracles and nothing more.

Bishop Leonard Umunna is the only Ajegunle preacher that knows the value of the media ministry without hesitation.Today, Bible Life Church Cathedral has over 100 branches across Nigeria and abroad and still remains a ministry where spiritual ethnics are nurtured and taught unlike some churches were ministerial morals have been thrown into the waste can. He believes on ministry of giving not promises without fulfilment. He once told Mindset Media Limited that his mother told him not to make promise to anyone in life and he kept to it. He is a man of God with his words. He values creativity to the core. There is a ministry of discipline in Bible Life Church Cathedral where members dress decently and well-cultured. He also believes on ministerial employment where handfuls of his members have been employed into his glorious company. Talent hunting and discovery is one of the core callings of Bishop Umunna where members are discovered for glorious exploit.

If Nigeria should have 10 of Bishop Leonard Umunna, then ministerial leadership would be respected across the globe but the problem is that many bogus pastors claiming to be modern day Prophets and Apostles with the syndrome of getting rich quickly and be famous have entered into the system making unbelievers to see all pastors as the same. Bishop Umunna is different from other pastors because he possesses bishopric discipline. Going by some modern churches, the Bible is no longer relevant in their messages than waiting for the visionary hours to see doom for members. Most churches are only interested with already made prophecies while Bishop Leonard Umunna prefers to be diagnosed with the word of God with faith. His words “let your faith carries you as you believe”. Bible Life Church is blessed with singers, dancers, prayer warriors, ministers, media personalities and other professional callings. The 2014 Bonanza night equally projected Bishop Leonard Umunna into limelight of prophetic truth where he said Nigeria would not divide but the world would congratulate Nigeria where other Nigerian pastors prophesied doom for President Goodluck Jonathan. He is not after earthly desires but interested with those that will make heavenly kingdom. Mindset Media Limited considers Leonard Umunna as one Bishop that has credulous spirit in Nigeria. Pastors these days use the pulpit to fabricate lies and give fake testimonies that never existed on earth. Bishop Umunna has created Generals for Christ. Coupled with the fact that his name has been written on the godly golden of heaven, he still remains a sought after Bishop Nigeria has ever produced in this part of the world.

Lastly, Bishop Leonard Umunna’s books are books written through the Holy Spirit of God with undiluted Bible scriptures. Having received over 50 meritorious awards and being described by Bible Lifers “a father of church drama”, he remains a bishop of the people with credibility. He is a man that speaks with one sentence (word) in dealing with his congregation. He has fathered many General Overseers across Nigeria and the globe and remains faithful in His presence.

The rising violence in South Africa has been prophesied by Bishop Leonard Umunna in recent past years. One thing you cannot take away from Bishop Umunna is the religious integrity, he possessed over the years. He remains the father of these great generational pastors in Nigeria. He is a Bishop that knows the value of the media including social media. He was the first Nigerian pastor that brought band ministry into the Pentecostal fold. Bishopric creativity cannot be taken away from our noble pastor of Nigeria whose style of ministry is worthy to be emulated by learning pastors. He is a man born with the fire of God.
