Adamawa Governor-Elect Extends Hands Of Love To Losers And Promise An All Inclusive Government

The newly elected Governor of Adamawa, Sen Mohammadu Jibrilla Bindow, has extended his hands of love and fellowship to all Adamawa state people especially those who are from other political parties contested along with him, promising to carry everybody along while declaring that he would be governor for all irrespective of religion, political or tribal affiliations.

Bindow made the declaration in Yola while addressing the state in a state-wide broadcast at the All Progressive Congress secretariat APC supporters including senior stakeholders.

“I want to thank the people of Adamawa particularly those who stood by us and brought me here. I want to assure the people of Adamawa that I will be a governor for all irrespective tribe, religion or party affiliation', Bindow said.

Bindow also extended his hands of fellowship to members of other political parties in the state in order to move the state forward.

Those in attendances during the briefing include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Dahiru Bobbo, Boss Mustapha, Sen Ahmed Barata, Dr. Jonathan Zwingina, Alh. Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta, Sen Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako, Sen Binta Masi Garba, Sen Abubakar Moallahyidi, Alh. Mijinyawa Kugama, Alh. Abdulrazak Namdaz, amongst others.

The Governor elect who wipes away his eyes intermittently said, “Let’s join hands and work together for the peace and progress of the state', Bindow said while lauding the support of President Elect, Muhammadu Buhari to his victory in Adamawa state.

In his remarks at the occasion, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar described the victory of Bindow as historic and a death blow to politics of ethno-religious sentiments in the state.

“Today is a very historic day in the political evolution of our state. Today we are witnessing history in the making because as we are about to inaugurate an opposition party.

“This will not have been possible without the general support of Nigerians who yearn for change. We promised them change and not just change but positive one' Atiku said.
