Again, Boko Haram Gunmen Storm Buratai Village, Kill Two, Injure Three

BEVERLY HILLS, April 10, (THEWILL) – Barely two weeks after Boko Haram gunmen stormed Buratai village in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State on March 27 killing 24 persons and injuring 30 others, the insurgents, Thursday night, attacked the village again, killing two persons and injuring three others, according to a security source, who craved anonymity.

Thursday's attack was confirmed by a resident of the village, Ardo Yahya, who disclosed to THEWILL that “the insurgents came on Thursday at about 8pm and started opening fire on anybody they sighted.”

According to Yahya, “ They killed two persons and injured three others who are currently receiving medical attention at the Biu General Hospital.”

The attack was also confirmed by a close associate of the state Commissioner of Education, Barrister Isa Audu Buratai, who is a native of the village.
