I Will Eradicate Corruption If Elected as Delta State Governor Says Barr Okiogbero

The Delta State National Conscience Party (NCP) governorship candidate, Barr.Jonathan Okiogbero recently made this statement while granting interview with journalists at Asaba in Delta State that he would eradicate corruption if elected as Delta State governor in 2015.As an Isoko-born lawyer and Lagos State Tax Consultant living in Lagos over the years, I know the marginalization Isoko nation has gone through and I am the only Delta governorship candidate that will bring massive development in the State. The PDP government in Delta State has failed Isoko nation in recent past years and only NCP platform can bring development to Isokoland.It is unfortunately that we have sold our political rights to powers that be in Delta State.

My aim of contesting this election to provide dividends of democracy to Delta State. I am not new in Delta politics and I have contested for senate under the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2007 and later NCP for governorship in 2011. I want to reduce corruption, provide railway system, revive the Delta State educational system and free education will be provided to all levels, build religious schools where pastors and evangelists will be trained regularly, expanding the Delta State commercial activities, bringing foreign investors to build industries where massive employment will be created in State and health care services. It is good that all Isoko people support my ambition come April 11, 2015 because I am the only Isoko man vying for the office of Delta State governor. I make bold to say a vote for me is a vote for the future of Isoko people in all ramifications. We cannot continue to play second fiddle politics in Isokoland and waiting for one party to give us infrastructural development like that. I want to say here that I am not a tribal person but I want to run all inclusive government in Delta State. If I win today, I will make sure all other governorship candidates are involved in my government. I will also provide cassava processing company and Warri airport would be reconstructed to hub all export and import activities in the state, he said.
