Buhari Receives Certificate of Return From INEC

SAN FRANCISCO, April 01, (THEWILL)  – Nigeria's President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari and Vice president-elect, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, were Wednesday issued a Certificate of Return by the national electoral commission.

The certificate was presented to them in Abuja by the chairman of INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega, who also doubled as the chief returning officer for the presidential election.

Buhari defeated incumbent President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan at Saturday's presidential election.

In his speech at the brief ceremony, Buhari reiterated his resolve to deliver good governance and promised to effectively fight corruption and crush the Boko Haram terrorists.
