Jonathan Leads Buhari, Others In Popular Votes

Incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan is leading the popular votes in a tense duel for the Aso Rock Villa Monday afternoon, according to the results released by INEC in 8 states including the Federal capital territory, Abuja.

The states are Enugu, Ogun, Kogi, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, Nasarawa and Abuja. The President got a total of 2,322,734, while General Muhammadu Buhari, has 2,302,978.

Jonathan, contrary to earlier reports won the FCT with 157,195 votes.
