CNN Young African Writers (CNNYAW) shall comprise of 200 young Africans from 54 African countries like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda etc.

CNNYAW's defined aim is to take Africa as a continent to greater heights with different entertaining yet educative articles and news and various aspects of life. Going out there to get the real story from the real people, how it happened, when and why. CNNYAW's primary goal is to go where people and other reporters dare not to go.

This forum has been designed to expose Young African Writers to the social media world in Africa and other continents of the world.

CNNYAW is a forum under the CNN (Cable News Network) Turner Inc., a Time Warner Company.
