TAN'S PDP RALLY HOLDS AS THUGS UNLEASH MEYHEM IN LAGOS

The Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, yesterday,convened a rally for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan.

The event, which held at the National Stadium, attracted people from all parts of the state including representatives of professional groups, traders and artisans.

Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, National Vice Chairman of TAN Speaking at the forum, said the gathering was convened to tell Nigerians that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock till 2019.

He further said that his group would do whatever it takes to ''liberate the people of Lagos State.''

Similarly, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Mr Jimi Agbaje promised to run a fair and open administration, adding that everybody irrespective of tribe and religion would have a say in his government.

Agbaje also urged Lagosians not to cast their vote for the APC, adding that PDP is the only party that is interested in the welfare of Nigerians.

The crowd later moved out of the National Stadium on a street to street sensitization march along the busy Ikorodu road and some major streets in the neighborhood.

This sensitization march however turned violent as thugs who support the PDP vandalized vehicles and robbed occupants of Phones, Money and other Items.

Over 70 Vehicles were reportedly vandalized in areas around the National Stadium, Palmgrove and costain.
