The state Chapter of Adamawa state APC has refuted a widely circulated rumors of the party running out of funds to finance the activities of the state party due to lack of financial support from former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is the leader of the party in the state.

One of the party's chieftain and also a publicity official of the campaign organisation, Alhaji Uba Dan Arewa, who spoke to newsmen on the speculation said the story making round was falsehood being perpetrated by enemies of the party.

Uba said some people are disturbed by the growing popularity and general acceptability of APC candidates in the state were out to create confusion in the party by peddling lies to create friction between the Gubernatorial candidate of the party and it's leader, Atiku Abubakar.

Dan Arewa said the campaign team has enough fund to continue its campaign next Monday which was earlier suspended for a while because of the shift in the general election.

"Let me tell the whole world that we are financially ready to face any opposition party in the state. In Adamawa it is clear that the people at the grass roots are with APC and have not been demanding money from the party during the campaign as is the case with other parties.

" Where ever we went during our campaigns it is the APC people in that area that organize things without collecting anything from the campaign organization.

" They people believe in APC movement as their own and have been contributing in their little ways for its Campagn.

" We also recieve support from well wishers from outside the state particularly from friends of our former Governor, Murtala Nyako.

"APC is the party to beat and our candidates, particularly Buhari and Sen Bindo Jibrilla are house hold name in Adamawa", Dan Arewa said.
