Wakil Reconciles Aggrieved PDP Members

Borno state Coordinator of PDP presidential campaign organisation,Hon Mohammed Wakil has successfully reconciled warring factions within the state chapter of the party after days of consultations and interactions.

Report from within the party indicated that the minister of state power met several leaders and groups with open resolution to work together for the success of the party on March 28 and after. One of such groups include the Goni.com,women groups and youth stakeholders.

The reconciliation meeting culminated in a mini-rally held at the Jonathan Sambo campaign office in Maiduguri where the Goni.com and other groups plegded to work for the success of President Jonathan and other candidates of the party.

The party leader also resolved feud between state executive and local government leaders of the party. Many of the groups also vowed to stop their opposition to the Governorship candidate,Mohammed Imam and plegded to rally round the party for electoral victory.

Wakil was quoted to have told the various groups that unity is a condition for victory against the APC,expressing optimism that the townhall meetings had put the Borno PDP on path of victory.

" We have getting over internal bickerings. We all now know that in unity we can secure the presidency,the governorship and all other elective offices. Victory is certain for PDP", The Minister said.
