FG okays nine private varsities

The Federal Government has okayed nine additional private universities in the country.

Nigeria is already blessed with  private universities, including Madonna University, Convenant University, Redeemers University and Babcock Universit

The approval given at the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting was presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo.

Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka, announced the decision at a post-FEC press briefing.

The new private universities, according to Chidoka, include Hallmark University, Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Kings University, Mountain Top University, Augustine University.
