Emerhor stated this when his campaign team paid a courtesy call to the apex socio-cultural body of Ndokwa nation, Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), at Umuachi Afor in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the State. He lamented that the country's economy has been bastardized by the ruling party, adding that insecurity, poverty, unemployment and lack of infrastructure are some of the failures of the present set of leaders that are in charge of the country, pointing out that Nigeria has joined big nations like America, UK, and other powerful countries in the world where two well recognized parties dominate the government, a development He said, has given the people of Nigerians a chance to choose those who they want to rule them.

The APC governorship candidate promised the people of Ndokwa nation that the wind of change that is sweeping all over Nigeria will not pass them by if he is voted into power.

Emerhor also promised them that his government will bring the much desired development that has eluded them for the past 16 years since the PDP has been in government, noting that the people of Ndokwa nation has suffered enough despite being a major contributor to the economy of the country.

Olorogun Emerhor who is an internationally recognized financial and business expert assured the people that if voted into power he is going to use his many years private business experience to attract more investors into the State, saying that he will increase the revenue of the State by going into private /public partnership that will grow the limited resources of the State.

He vowed to protect the interest of Ndokwa nation if they support his governorship ambition and queue behind him, adding that He will attract more development through fair distribution of the state's resources.

Emerhor promise to set aside 10 billion naira funds in his first one hundred days in office, saying that the money will serve as empowerment funds for the women and unemployed youths which will help them set up small business to cushion the effect of poverty that is rampant in the State.

Responding, the President General of Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), Pharmacist Paul Enebeli thanked Emerhor and his campaign team for the visit, adding that the visit has proven to the world that the Ndokwa nation is the melting point of politics in Delta.

He said though NNU is not a political association, the Union welcomes all politicians who come to solicit their support, adding that they will align with those that meets the aspirations of the Ndokwa nation.

In a similar development, the Emerhor campaign train also paid a visit to the traditional ruler of Emu kingdom, HRH Johnson Ekpechi, the Obuemue of Emu Kingdom in Ndokwa West Local Government area of the State.

Speaking at the palace of the monarch, Olorogun Otega Emerhor promise to bring rapid development to the community if he is elected as the governor of the State, while soliciting for the votes of the people of Ndokwa West. He disclosed that his administration, if elected in April, will make sure that all the rural communities in the State will experience substantial dividends of democracy, especially the construction of new network of roads in some rural communities.

Also speaking, the APC Deputy Governorship candidate in Delta State, Chief Thomas Abanum who hails from the community urged the people of Ndokwa West to vote massively for all APC candidates, saying the party has come to bring succour to the people of Delta State.

In his response, the monarch of Emu kingdom assured Emerhor that He will mobilize his subjects to vote for him in the coming gubernatorial elections, pointing out that the people of Emu kingdom have been neglected by successive government for too long.
