Ajibola Congratulates Shehu Shagari

Former Attorney-general and Minister of Justice, Prince Bola Ajibola has felicitated with the former president of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari on his 90th birthday.

In a statement by his media aide, Idris Katib, Prince Ajibola described Alhaji Shehu Shagari as a deserving elder statesman who has led a simple, exemplary life.

Ajibola unveiled that when he had the responsibility of examining Alhaji Shehu Shagari for alleged corruption when his civilian government was toppled by the military, he found out that the former president was not in any way close to any corrupt practice during his tenure.

Ajibola said the finding had endeared him to the former president till date.
