A Nigerian teenager, Zuriel Oduwole has been named as one of the 33 women who impacted the world in the 2014. The young Nigerian is an activist who has gone on to the world stage to advocate for the girl-child.

At the age of 12, she is the youngest on the 33-women list of the ELLE Magazine of '33 Women Who Impacted the World in 2014'. She will be featured on the magazine's global North American edition for the month of March.

She is a young documentary filmmaker who continuously advocates the equal rights for the girl-child everywhere around the globe, inviting First Ladies across Africa to talk girls' education, speaking to children in Ethiopia and the UK on Education, launching a hand hygiene campaign for school kids in Africa during the Ebola crisis that ravaged some parts of the African continent.

She will be decorated alongside Angelina Jolie, Janet Yaallen, Shonda Rhimes, Mary Barra and others.
