Monday Gold: A Holiness Preacher with Integrity

Barely four years ago when one Mr. Raphael Iyomateri,a renowned Ajegunle DJ from Ivrogbo-Irri town in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State introduced Prophet Monday Gold to me as his father in the lord. I never hesitated than to meet a man of God I considered as a father in my life. I granted him a full page interview on the Isoko Mirror Newspaper on his calling and what Nigeria would be expected if prayers are not offered regularly. In that interview, he told the world a new disease that would inflict the world including Nigeria which later manifested as Ebola Virus Disease (EVB) that took the world unaware. He explained further that the disease is caused by our neglect in God's word over the years. Though, that one hour interview convinced me that Prophet Monday Gold was a real servant of God with integrity.

Ever since I knew Prophet Monday Gold, nobody has ever reported any negative things about his calling rather see him as a mentor of mentors in the ministerial works.Rev. Festus Ejete once described him as a” Faithful Servant of God”. He never called himself into the ministry than listening to the voice of God. I have never regretted of knowing Prophet Gold whom I see as a mentor to my calling. One thing that makes me see him as a holy man is that, he posts undiluted messages on his facebook page to preach to those that refused to path with Jesus Christ in their lives. How many pastors in Nigeria are using the social media to preach God's word than advertising their cars, families and big cathedrals as means of earthly achievements but Prophet Gold sees all as doom to hell fire. Having read through some of his books he gave me few years ago, one that drew my attention is the “The Prophetic Anointing in Action” where he elucidated on Understanding the Mystery Behind” Thus Saith the Lord “and further explained on the Original Call,Preparation,Confirmatory Call and launch Out. The 41 pages with 6 chapters explained further on the ministry of prophetic utterances where he used Elijah, Peter and others as case studies. He was never called into the ministry as a frustrated man but was a renowned Chartered Accountant to the core. He has never thought of starting a ministry because his profession earned him so much money and fame then and saw pastors as poor people until God made his calling known to him with many challenges attached it. Prophet Gold is not carried away by the things of this world than preaching the gospel to those that are ready to listen with assurance of heavenly blessings. He has authored over 8 books into the market dealing on grace, truth and holiness.

Again, Prophet Gold does not compete with any church within his environment even an ousted demonic church was intimidating other churches with an unholy congregation but never gave up his calling and remembered the verse in the Bible that says by their fruit we shall know them and God victimised the fake prophet of God in the long run. He is a well-read prophet of God in Nigeria and sees the like of Enoch Adeboye,Dr.D.K Olukoya,Williams Kumuyi and other great International preachers as his mentors in the gospel. He once faced a challenge when his ministry changed location but with infinite mercy on him the ministry came alive with members filled with the ghost fire of God. He is the General Overseer of Winners Ministries International now Grace Truth and Holiness Bible Church International and President of Kingdom Achievers Partners(KAP).He is one of the notable servants of God Idheze-Irri town has produced in recent times. His ministry remains one of the best in holiness and righteousness messages. He is not interested on large members but those that can make heaven at the last days. His prophecy on Ebola virus has come to pass and other prophecies concerning Nigeria which Boko Haram and unstable leadership are parts of them. He remains the eagle eye of Nigeria leadership to core.

Lastly, Prophet Monday Gold is one Nigerian pastor that speaks the truth to anybody that comes for counselling and prayers no matter the position of such person in the society. His weekly and Sunday services are filled with the ghost fire of God. He has received Mindset Media Limited Award and be added to Mindset Hall of Fame calendar on yearly basis. He is married to a dignified wife filled with fire of God and blessed with five wonderful and glorious children.
