Few days to the much anticipated Presidential Election the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] has continued to give Nigerians reasons to re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term in office through its campaign rallies. The outcome of the rallies so far has been a demonstration of the desire of the people for continuity because it is only by re-electing Goodluck Jonathan that the current wave of transformation going on in the country could be sustainable for the benefit of the masses.

As political campaigns continue with few days to Nigeria's general elections, the People Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday took its campaign to Delta state in the south-south region of the oil rich nation. Delta State is particularly interesting going by the fact that apart from the role it plays as one of the centres of rich crude oil deposits, it is also fascinating because it is the home state of one of the most fiercest loyalists of the PDP and a woman of national significance and influence in the person of Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Juliet Olejeme.

At the campaign venue, which could best be described as a carnival, the presidential candidate of the PDP, President Goodluck Jonathan promised that the state would encounter more support from his government in all areas of economy if voted in.

Several other speakers at the rally, including Vice-President Namadi Sambo; First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan; the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, Dr. Ahmadu Ali; the party's National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Muazu; host Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan; Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson; Cross Rivers State Governor Liyel Imoke; former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, etc took turn in praising Jonathan for his great achievements within four years in office.

On the one hand, the woman, referred to as the mother of Deltans; Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Juliet Olejeme, while addressing reporters described Jonathan as an intelligent and vibrant man. She noted that all over the world, the trend is for countries to vote for leaders who are young and vibrant.

According to Olejeme, “the president has promised massive employment for young people across the country through the encouragement of talent in the entertainment industry and a commitment to the completion of the $16 billion Delta Gas City project at Ogidigben in Warri South-West Local Government”. She therefore urged Deltans to vote for Goodluck Jonathan on the 14th of this month.

Also, Top Nigerian celebrities were attendance to show their support for President Goodluck Jonathan, who according to them had supported the entertainment sector. They said the entertainment sector had seen a 100% improvement since the Jonathan's administration began.
