Fresh Potiskum Attack Claims Six Lives, Scores Injured 

SAN FRANCISCO, February 01, (THEWILL) – Sunday's fresh Boko Haram suicide attack on Potiskum, the largest commercial town in Yobe State, claimed the lives of six persons.

Local residents told THEWILL that the attack occurred around 1:20pm in front of the residence of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Potiskum/Nangere federal constituency in Yobe state for the 2015 general elections, Sabo Garbu,

opposite the Federal Government College .
The  bomber was said to have stormed the home of the politician  and detonated the explosives just as Garbu was hosting his supporters, killing six persons instantly as several others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Though no official confirmation of the incident was forthcoming when filing this report, sources, craving anonymity, at the Potiskum General Hospital, told THEWILL that  six dead bodies and several other injured persons were brought  to the hospital.
