Presidents Goodluck Jonathan And Barack Obama

By Adeola Ikuomola

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and President Barack Obama of the United States of America have so much in common. Both are from minority ethnies in their home countries. And by divine arrangement they are sitting presidents in Nigeria and the United States of America respectively.

President Barack Obama has contested and won two presidential elections. He is midway into his second term in office. President Goodluck Jonathan contested and won in 2011 and is now preparing for his second electoral victory come February 14, 2015.

Fellow patriotic Nigerians, we borrowed democracy from the United States of America. Let us honour President Goodluck Jonathan with another term in office as the Americans have done for President Barack Obama.

What is good for the Americans and President Obama is good for us Nigerians and President Jonathan. Under the sun and under the rain, let us cast our votes for Mr. President and sing the victorious electoral songs under the PDP-borne umbrella.
