The 2015 Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has described the existing peace in the State as an act of God  manifested through the outstanding performance of Governor Sullivan Chime.

Speaking at the Peoples Democratic Party campaign rally which was held at Ezeagu Local Government over the weekend , Ugwuanyi reaffirmed his earlier stance to adopt all the programmes and polices of the PDP-led government of Governor Chime, emphasizing that  they were the reason behind the success story of the Chime administration.

” In and out of office Chime remains my Leader and his programmes will be my programmes, we will  continue to grow from strength to strength to the glory of God”.

The Governorship Candidate who was elated by the high level of enthusiasm and participation amongst party faithful and  supporters  at the rally also made a special appeal to those who have not collected their permanent voters cards (PVC) to make it a point of duty by shifting all their engagements to ensure that they collect the voters’ cards before the deadline elapse.

He noted that it is only when all supporters of the party collect their voters cards that the Party can actualize its target of winning the elections with clear margins for the sustenance of good governance in state in particular and the nation in general.

“We have a quality presidential candidate in person of President Goodluck Jonathan, a transformer who deserves our total support. We also have other quality candidates for other elective positions. Going by the level of solidarity and acceptability our great Party has received from our supporters, victory is ours. Our party is power to the people, and the power the people have is the PVCs, please go and collect yours if have not,  said Ugwuanyi.

In his speech, Governor Chime thanked the people of Ezeagu Local Government Area for their continued support for the PDP promising that the Party will continue to provide for their needs.

He further urge them to ensure that they collect their permanent voters cards in order not disenfranchise themselves during the elections.
