PDP lifts suspension on Tukur

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, lifted the suspension on the former chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

National chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, announced the lifting of the suspension at the presidential rally of the party in Yola, Adamawa State.

Tukur was suspended for filing a lawsuit against the party, in a bid to return as the chairman, saying he was forced to resign from the post in January 2013.
