PDP AGGRIEVED ASPIRANT: YES I WAS HURT BUT I CAN’NT LEAVE PDP, I AM READY TO WORK FOR PDP-ENGR OMAR SULEIMAN

There has been uproar in the political scene of people democracy party in Adamawa state since the alleged primaries some members called “controversial” took place in Abuja where many aspirants were cut unaware and could not partake in the forgone primaries.The issue that positioned PDP in the state to be in serious crisis the reason why many aspirants and their teaming supporters defected to different political parties.

Engr Omar Suleiman (Umarana) who was vying for a senatorial ticket of the Adamawa senatorial district but was denied the privilege of partaking in the primaries despite fulfilling all conditions needed in the party, he said PDP is his party of choice and cannot leave the party for whatever reasons, though maintained that base on the party's constitution there has not been primaries ever taken place.

“I am a PDP card carrying member, I am still waiting to see what the party can do to what happened in Abuja, as far as I am concerned myself and Aishatu Ahmed Binani we were excluded in the last party primaries in Abuja, it surprised me to see the result that Hon Idi Hong had polled 243 votes out of 250.” Omar said

The former MD to port authority lament that his name was never part of the voting system in Abuja, was even shocked to discover that Engr Aishatu Binani as a woman could not even polled a single votes.

“Because of gender sensitivity, Binani being a woman should at least get a single vote, for your information I am here to still canvass votes from my people.”

When asked of the ongoing reconciliation within the Party and to all aggrieved aspirants organized by the re-instated chairman of the party, chief Joel Madaki, Omar responded that only the terms of agreement will foster a good reconciliation that will push the party forward in the state.

“I am not fighting, I am in PDP and I am here to work for PDP. My agreement depends on the terms of agreement; my message out there to all my people is to work for PDP.” Suleiman added
