Top Nigerian comedian, Uche Ogbuagu has called on Igbo elites to adopt the book that aims at celebrating Igbo icons, Most Influential Igbo Personalities otherwise known as MIIP, adding that it will encourage National coexistence.

Presenting copy of the book to the rib-cracker in his country home of Akabo in Imo state, the author and one of the prime members of the editorial team, Ugochukwu Favour-Mayor attested that he met the criteria needed to count one as being influential.

Describing him as a comedian with a difference, the book further eulogized him as one of those few who originated talk-show in Nigeria, “which he so popularized that over five thousand youths are now engaged in Talk-show as their permanent source of living.”

“The premier talk show recorded by Hon. Uche Ogbuagu on CD, entitled: Bad Condition, still remains an unbeatable master piece of philosophy of life in a blend of humor. The series has 8 volumes in the market while the 9th volume is now in the making,” the book noted.

According to the comedian who is currently the Imo state Youth Co-ordinator of President Goodluck Jonathan's Transformation Agenda of Nigeria (TAN), Ogbuagu enjoined all to appreciate the book as a venture that will promote peace and unity in the country.

“This is a worthy venture that should be encouraged. It is about National unity, and it should be adopted by every person who admires love and peace. We will make sure we guide this brand through sustenance,” he said.

Interestingly, the President of Editors' Guild of Nigeria and Managing Director of the Sun Newspapers, Mr. Femi Adesina wrote the foreword of the book.
