PDP'S LEGACY TO NIGERIANS AFTER 16 YEARS IN POWER IS ONE OF BOKO HARAM, TERRORISM, GENOCIDE AND HOOLIGANISM

HE PDP AND ITS CULTURE OF POLITICAL VIOLENCE
The PDP is instigating violence against itself and blaming it on the APC. The snipers former President Olusegun Obasanjo warned us all about in his open letter to President Goodluck Jonathan have started unleashing mayhem across Nigeria. The attached picture is a reminder that the former National Security Adviser, General Azazi, after extensive investigation of Boko Haram activities indicted the PDP as the founder and financier of Boko Haram.

It has been alleged that General Azazi paid the supreme price for saying the truth. It has also been alleged in some quarters that the Boko Haram sponsors in the PDP bombed the chopper he was flying in when he was on his way to a social event in Bayelsa State. General Azazi was a Bayelsa native and an appointee of President Jonathan. He was sacked a few weeks after he made those comments captured in the attached picture before his death. May his soul rest in perfect peace and may God grant his relatives and loved ones the fortitude to bear his loss.

This reminder is important because the PDP have been trying very hard to falsely link General Muhammadu Buhari to MEND, Boko Haram and political violence.

The APC office in Okrika, Rivers state was bombed on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in a fashion consistent with the modus operandi of Boko Haram. The PM news reported that another secretariat belonging to the All Progressives Party [APC] was on Friday, January 16, 2015 bombed in Rivers just five days after the party's office in Okrika Local Government Area of the state was attacked with dynamites. The fresh bomb attack on the secretariat at Ngo community in Andoni Local Government Area of the state occurred at about 3 am. Friday, triggering explosion in the vicinity, sparking panic among residents and destroying the building.

Some days ago APC supporters were shot on their way to an APC political rally in Port Harcourt Rivers State.

The interim Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ward 9 in Umuogerem Obibi, Etche in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Chimezie Anucha, was shot dead by assassins on Sunday, the 6th of April 2014. This incident happened between 7 and 8am at Achara Obibi area of the state.

THE CONNECTION OF VICE PRESIDENT NAMADI SAMBO OF THE PDP TO EXTREMISM AND BOKO HARAM

SAMBO'S INCITING WORDS AT THE PDP PRESIDENTIAL RALLY IN JIGAWA STATE.

At the Presidential campaign rally of GEJ/Sambo in Jigawa state on January 21st, 2015, in the presence of President Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo stated in Hausa : “Buhari ya dauko pastor a matsayin mataimakinsa kunsan coci nawa yake dashi? Yanada coci 5000, don haka karku zabesu. The translation is – “Buhari has selected a pastor as his running mate, do you know how many churches he has? He has 5000 churches, so based on that, don't vote for them”.

Sambo used religious sentiments in his attempt to divide the country and incite muslims against christians. Sambo also said at the rally that the PDP is the most Islamic Party in Nigeria because nobody can be more muslim than him. He said that his name is Namadi which is a derivative of Namadina, meaning someone from the Medina in Saudi Arabia. At the Rally in Jigawa State Sambo also stated that he goes for the Hajj every year.

In Sambo's attempt at whipping up religious sentiments and divisions, he stated at the Jigawa state rally that all the security chiefs in the Jonathan administration are muslims and based on that, those alleging that Jonathan is supportive of Boko Haram are not being fair. He mentioned the names of some key ministers in the Jonathan administration including Defence Minister, Aliyu Gusau, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, Inspector General of Police, Abba whom he emphasized are all muslims. He also mentioned all the muslim ministers from Kano, including Aminu Wali, Foreign Affairs Minister and Shekarau, Minister of Education.

Sambo then asked if anyone could claim to be more muslim than him Namadi Sambo. Then he shouted Allahu Akbar (Allah is great several times). To close his speech he recited the AlFatiha, (The Opening, the first seven verses of the Holy Quran, which for Muslims is the Mother of the Book, highly revered by all).

Sambo's outburst against Christians and Pastor Osinbajo would not surprise close watchers of political events in Nigeria but it does reconfirm the outcome of late General Azazi thorough and extensive investigation of Boko Haram and in which he concluded that the PDP founded Boko Haram and finances its terrorist activities.

Boko Haram insurgency has led to the loss of 5% of Nigeria's territory to the terrorists including 70% of the territory of Adamawa, Yobe and Borno States. It has led to the displacement of almost 2 million residents of these states and the loss of over 25,000 lives including poorly equipped army officers who were sent by President Jonathan to fight a war without the necessary military ammunitions and weapons. Over 5,000 girls, boys as well as married women have been kidnapped by the Boko Haram insurgents and have been turned into suicide bombers, sex slaves and insurgents. Boko Haram is one of the legacies that the PDP has bequeathed to Nigeria after being in power for 16 years of our recent democratic dispensation.

SAMBO'S CONNECTION TO TERRORISM AND BOKO HARAM
In a report on January 17, 2012, SaharaReporters confirmed that Nuhu Mohammed Marafa (alias Babawo), a suspected financier of the terrorist group Boko Haram, is a close associate of Vice President Namadi Sambo . On the 15th of January 2012, Nigerian soldiers arrested Mr. Marafa in Kaduna State for illegal possession of arms and ammunition. SaharaReporters investigations established that the suspect was one of the Vice President's major promoters when Mr. Sambo ran for the Kaduna governorship in 2007. SaharaReporters sources revealed that the suspect ran a political organization for Sambo called “Namadi Ambassadors.” The Vice President defeated Sani Sha'aban in the said 2007 election and was governor of Kaduna State until President Goodluck Jonathan invited him to be his running mate in the April 2011 election. SaharaReporters investigations also revealed that Mr. Marafa is a prominent member of ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP), duly registered in Sabon Garin Nasarawa Ward of Chikun local government area. A source told SaharaReporters that “He is one of the key players in the party and has great influence in the state's political affairs.

AYODELE FAYOSE, A PDP STALWART, STRATEGIST, AND EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF EKITI STATE IS AN ADVOCATE OF ELECTORAL VIOLENCE AND BRIGANDAGE

In the Punch Newspaper of January 22, 2015, it was reported that gunmen have attacked an APC secretariat in Ekiti State . Gunmen in the night of Wednesday, January 21, 2015 attacked the Ekiti State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Ekiti and destroyed the flags and posters of the party's candidates.According to a statement issued by the state Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, the gunmen came in four Hilux vehicles and a car to unleash the mayhem. “Shortly before they arrived, streetlights along Ajilosun Street where the APC secretariat is located were switched off. The hoodlums wounded the security man at the gate of the APC office.” The party said Governor Ayo Fayose had concluded plans to hold a rally at Fajuyi Roundabout in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday in a bid to disrupt the APC presidential rally scheduled for the same day in the city.“Fajuyi roundabout is a major road to Ekitiparapo Square along NTA road where the APC is holding its presidential rally on Saturday.“The Independent National Electoral Commission's rule prevents two parties to hold rallies on same day in the same state capital. The PDP held its rally about two weeks ago,” the statement added.

Fayose sponsored a death-wish-advert in the front pages of 5 major Nigerian Newspapers wishing General Muhammadu Buhari dead and casting aspersions on former Nigerian Presidents/Heads of State from the Northwest geopolitical zone who have died in office. The advert was widely condemned by Nigerians

This senseless action of Fayose also drew global condemnation and political backlash across the country.

These front page death-wish adverts were placed after the DG of the Jonathan Sambo campaign, Ahmadu Ali approved the adverts. When the Jonathan/Sambo campaign saw that the advert had backfired and generated millions of potential sympathy votes for General Buhari they issued a press release distancing the campaign from the advert.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a veiled endorsement of the APC candidate General Muhammadu Buhari condemned the Fayose advert in several tweets on his twitter handle. President Obasanjo or OBJ as he is popularly called sad “Ayo Fayose is nothing but a celebrated HOOLIGAN. His offensive advert should provoke and strengthen Nigerians to vote for #CHANGE. OBJ also tweeted: “My sincere condolences goes to the people of Ekiti State because they're being led by a senseless and incorrigible Governor. Nigerians were critisizing me when I called Ayo Fayose a bastard. I'm now fully convinced that a man that mocks our past heroes is a BASTARD. Ayo Fayose mocked the death of our great past heroes. This is too much of politics to play. I hope Nigerians now know the right camp to vote.

Fayose forced civil servants in Ekiti state to attend President Jonathan's political rally in Ekiti state. He threatened to sack any civil servant that refuses to attend the rally. He went ahead to open a register at the venue of the rally for all civil servants to sign and confirm their attendance.

One of the Permanent Secretaries of one of the State Ministries was sacked by Governor Fayose for openly criticizing the governor for forcing civil servants to attend President Jonathan's political rally against their wish.

He also raided the market in Ado Ekiti and seized the goods of market men and women whom he accused of being APC supporters.

He has also personally supervised the destruction of APC campaign posters across Ekiti state.

KATSINA STATE GOVERNOR AND PDP STALWART IBRAHIM SHEMA IS ALSO AN ADVOCATE OF GENOCIDE AND ELECTORAL VIOLENCE

Premium Times Newspaper in a news report on November 9, 2014 reported that a video depicting the Katsina Governor, Ibrahim Shema, prodding his party members to physically assault and possibly “kill” opposition politicians in the state, has gone viral on the internet. The amateur video was first posted on the internet on November 12. It shows the governor, dressed in white agbada and brown sandals, standing on a red carpet, and addressing a crowd in what seemed like a political rally. He spoke in Hausa.Mr. Shema likened opposition politicians to “cockroaches” before asking the crowd what to do if they found the nocturnal insect in their apartments. The crowd chorused “Kill them!” “Crush them!” the governor responded, agreeing with the crowd. Premium Times noted that similar calls have triggered violence in other countries including the East African country, Rwanda, where the majority Hutus' description of the minority Tutsis as “cockroaches”, helped fire a 100-day murderous campaign that saw over 800,000 Tutsis killed.

SULE LAMIDO, JIGAWA STATE GOVERNOR AND PDP STALWART IS ANOTHER PDP ADVOCATE OF GENOCIDE AND POLITICAL VIOLENCE

At the Jonathan/Sambo for President PDP Campaign rally on the 21st of January in Jigawa State, PDP Stalwart and governor of Jigawa State in the presence of President Jonathan said in hausa :”Kowa ya taba ku ku taba shi” – Anybody that attacks you attack him back. This is a call to anarchy from a PDP chieftain and it reflects the same violent sentiments expressed by Shema of Katsina state. The same Lamido had said some days ago that General Muhammadu Buhari is “an incorruptible and honest leader.” One wonders why some days after endorsing General Buhari's leadership qualities he will be inciting his supporters to violence against the supporters of the incorruptible People's General.

ADAMU MUAZU THE PDP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN IS AN EXTREMIST UNREPENTANT SHARIA ADVOCATE WHO ORDERED THE SLAUGHTER OF CHRISTIANS AS BAUCHI STATE GOVERNOR IN 2001.

The current PDP Chairman, Adamu Muazu as Governor of Bauchi state adopted sharia law as part of the law of Bauchi state and signed it into law in 2001. Buhari as former military Head of State with immense power did not adopt Sharia law as national law, he also refused to register Nigeria as a member of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC). It was IBB that later registered Nigeria as a member of the OIC after his successful palace coup against Buhari.

Adamu Muazu is an unrepentant Islamist. At least 30 Christians were killed during a June 2001 outbreak of violence between Muslims and Christians in the Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro areas of northern Nigeria's Bauchi state.

More than 158 Christian-owned houses were burned, along with two churches and a Bible school belonging to the Church of Christ in Nigeria, according to a statement signed by four leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The religious clashes began on June 18, 2001, after Bauchi Governor Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Muazu declared on June 1, 2001, that Islamic (sharia) law applied to all persons in the state, not Muslims only. On June 4, Muazu assigned an Islamic court judge to Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Areas to enforce Islamic law in the predominantly Christian villages.

The four Christian leaders, Rev. Markus Musa, Rev. Canon H.A. Eluwa, Michael Lulu and Yunusa Manzo, accused the governor of masterminding the Christian killings.

“He knew well that Christians were slaughtered at a roadblock at Zwall and Burgel villages by Muslim jihadists. Yet, to date he did nothing about it,” the Christian leaders claimed. “The fact that Governor Ahmed Adamu Muazu, as the chief security officer in the state, did nothing to prevent the slaughtering of the Christians at those roadblocks means that he actually helped in the planning and execution of the jihad against the Christians in Bauchi state,” the Christian leaders concluded.

Recently, President Jonathan despite the false accusation of his campaign team against Buhari, attended an Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) meeting and this is the first time this is happening in 15 years. Since 1999, no Nigerian President has attended OIC meetings. This evinces the fact that President Jonathan and his handlers are award winning liars who are extremely desperate for power.

Based on the foregoing it is becoming increasingly clear that the long-standing allegations against Buhari that he is a Sharia advocate and Islamist is diversionary, wicked and hypocritical. It is the PDP as exemplified by its Chairman Adamu Muazu that not only advocated that Sharia be widely adopted in Nigeria but also adopted and enforced Sharia law.

PDP'S SHEKARAU IS A RELIGIOUS EXTREMIST AND A BOKO HARAM SYMPATHIZER WHO ENCOURAGED THE KILLING OF THOUSANDS OF CHRISTIANS IN KANO BETWEEN MAY 11, 2004 AND MAY 13, 2004

The PDP and GEJ propaganda machine have been spreading fabrications that Buhari is a religious extremist for many years. All those fabrications have been debunked by me and other public affairs analysts in the last 6 weeks. The PDP is the party of the extremists. The PDP has Modu Sheriff, one of the key PDP Founders of Boko Haram as its leader in the North East. The PDP has Alhaji Shekarau as its leader in the Northwest.

48 hours after Boko Haram detonated bombs at the Nyanya, Abuja Bus Station on the 14th of April 2014 and killed over 100 people, and kidnapped almost 300 girls school girls writing their WAEC exams at Chibok, Borno State,President Jonathan jetted out to Kano from Abuja in one of his 12 Presidency private jets and declared Shekarau the leader of the PDP in the Northwest with pomp and pageantry and wild celebrations characterized by skelewu and azonto dance steps.

President Jonathan was accused of dancing over the graves of those who lost their lives only 24 hours earlier.Shekarau also joined President Jonathan in dancing over the graves of those who died in the Nyanya bomb blast.

This article reveals why Shekarau could display such despicable level of inhumanity. Shekarau is an unrepentant Islamist who initiated, encouraged and incited the bloody Kano riot of May 11th to May 13th 2004 which left thousands of Christians dead. Most of the Christians that were killed, were slaughtered in their homes, schools and offices. Shekarau was the Governor of Kano State at the time and was elected in 2003 on a campaign promise to adopt and enforce Sharia law and make it applicable to all and sundry.

Azu Robert Mary of Nigerian Village square in an article published on Jan. 20. 2011 referenced a paper by Olufemi Oluniyi, Ph.D. presented at the International Peace Research Association Conference, “Building Sustainable Futures, Enacting Peace and Development” University of Leuven Belgium 15-19 July, 2008, which undertook an in-depth analysis of Shekarau's religious fundamentalism.

Azu Robert Mary's article and Dr. Oluniyi's paper have been reproduced below:

“WHO IS GOV SHEKARAU?.
It's no longer news that Kano state Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau is the 2011 presidential flag bearer of All Nigeria's Peoples Party, (ANPP). Having voluntarily offered to run for the highest office in the land, it is assumed that Shekarau has opened himself up to public scrutiny. In every democracy, a candidate running for president must explain his past records, present health condition and why he wants the sought after position, in order to convince the public that he could be trusted for that role.

For candidate Shekarau, he comes with a baggage of religious incitement and extremism allegations that are too weighty and messy to be swept under the carpet. The allegations are very fundamental because it goes to the root of who he is. Is he a leader of a secular nation or a global mujaheedin in the mould of the failed under pant bomber, AbdulMutalab? Only Shekarau can answer this.

Shekarau came into national limelight on a very negative note in 2004, barely a year after his election as a governor, following a very rare public bashing by a fellow governor, the then Ebonyi state governor, Sam Egwu.

Egwu in an interview, which made the front page news in Thisday newspaper of 20th may 2004 with the heading; Egwu: Hold Shekarau responsible for Kano riot, accused Shekarau of complicity in the May 2004 Kano riot that led to the needless deaths of scores of innocent Nigerians. Shekarau replied through a letter deliberately leaked to the press by Kano state government.

It is important at this point to give a background to this public spat by the two. For that, we refer to a published research on the incident by the University of Leuven, Belgium*. The research noted as follows;

COMPLICITY IN BLOODY PROTEST
On 2nd and 3rd February 2004, a dispute over land in Yelwa-Shendam, Plateau State, led to religion-related violence that claimed many lives with casualties heavier among the Christians. On 2nd and 3rd April, as well as 2nd and 3rd May 2004, dispute arose in the same locality resulting in heavier casualties among the Muslims.

On 10th May 2004, the Council of Ulama, Kano State Chapter, sought permission from Governor Shekarau for a street protest in solidarity with Muslims in Plateau State. The following day witnessed thousands of Muslims, including prominent state officials and a cabinet minister, in a violent protest and wanton destruction of lives and property of non-indigenes, especially Christians. Several Muslim leaders within and without Kano State foresaw wanton destruction of lives and property and looting in what the Council of Ulama was seeking. They therefore advised the governor not to grant the permit but the governor ignored wise counsel. …The counsel by fellow Muslims for refusal of permit was therefore not an attempt to deny fellow Muslims the freedom of assembly or expression; rather it was their awareness of the world of difference between the rhetoric and the reality of rights. They were keenly aware of times when calls for protest were merely rhetoric, whereas the real intention was for violence – and they were proved right the following day.

Egwu like most Nigerians was appalled and shocked beyond belief by the role of Shekarau, a former school teacher with the benefit of a higher education, in the Kano blood bath, especially his inability to intervene in order to save innocent lives that he had to publicly indict his colleague in the killings. Shekarau was undoubtedly livid and fired a leaked letter to the press, purportedly addressed to Egwu but never sent to the addressee. In the letter, see Daily Sun 4th June 2004; Shekarau tackles Egwu over Kano killings, Shekarau refused to explain his role in the human carnage nor any effort his government applied in avoiding the needless massacre. Rather Shekarau spent five out of the ten paragraph letter accusing Egwu of been misinformed, without bothering to enlighten the reader of what actually happened. The rest was a reference from a protocol note by a delegation of Igbo leaders in the state who perhaps out of courtesy 'thanked' him for his role in the crisis. Shekarau did not make available the details of the supposed 'thank you' letter. Till date, Nigerians are still waiting for Shekarau's explanation of his role in that blood bath.

It is interesting that Egwu did not back down from his indictment of Shekarau in the ugly bloodbath. In fact, in a reply to Shekarau's letter Daily Sun, 28th June 2004, Egwu bravely noted;

“I do not deny the fact that I made it known that Your Excellency's handling of the riot left so much to be desired, based on the available facts. In the second place, the intensity of the bloodletting, which was visited on non-Muslims and non-indigenes of Kano in general, is too severe to be treated as just another subject for ethno-religious politics. With due respect to Your Excellency, I am constrained to reaffirm that you are to be held responsible for the tragic fate of non-Muslims during the Kano mayhem. My position is informed not only by the fact that you are the Chief Security Officer of Kano State but also by the specific roles, which you and other officials of your administration played during the period. Your Excellency may recall that the Council of Ulama and other Muslim Youths marched to your office to have audience with your good self and that they were led in the protest not only by the chairman of Kano State Sharia Implementation Commission, Sheik Ibrahim Umar Kabo, but also by other prominent state officials including the Kano State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Alhaji Abdulahi Sani Rogo. You may also recall that in the course of your interaction with the protesters, you not only decried what you described as the “organized massacre of Muslims globally”, but also stated that such acts will be an impetus to Muslims rather than cow them, adding that the protesters had your full backing. Your Excellency, in view of the volatile nature of Kano and its antecedents as a religious hot bed, your posture and utterances in such period of tension have all the trappings of an organized incitement. Given your new posture as an opponent of violence and intolerance, one would be surprised to note that no disciplinary action has been taken against any of the government functionaries who led and facilitated the demonstrations. This looks to me as a clear case of double-speak.

It is regrettable that your Excellency quoted a letter of appreciation written to you by members of the Igbo Community Association, Kano as proof of their gratitude in respect of your assistance to the relatives of those who died in a motor accident along the Abuja/Lokoja road last year in which some Igbos were involved. Your Excellency also failed to note that the said letter was sent to you on 19 April, 2004 – about one month before the bloody riot in issue. One is therefore deeply at a loss as to the relationship between the letter and the critical issue of the loss of lives and valuable property by Igbo and other Nigerians in Kano.

I am rather surprised that Your Excellency failed to appreciate the depth of suspicion and distrust by Igbos and other riot victims to you and your administration as demonstrated by their collective rejections of the relief materials your government sent them during the riot even at the pain of starvation.”

In a Guardian Newspaper headline of May 20, 2004 with the title “Emirs, religious leaders query Shekarau's role in Kano riots by Saxone Akhaine, the paper stated that “EMIRS and religious leaders in the North rose from a meeting yesterday blaming Governor Ibrahim Shekarau for the crisis that claimed many lives and property in Kano State…”

The Guardian reported that “at the meeting held behind closed-doors at the Arewa House, Kaduna for several hours, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, narrated the genesis of the crisis and how traditional council members in Kano had warned Governor Shekarau against addressing a rally of aggrieved indigenes of the state.”

The Guardian stated that “According to a source close to the Emirs and Islamic leaders, “the meeting was a revealing one as to the cause of escalation of the Kano riot. The Emirs, after studying the verbal report of His Royal Highness, Ado Bayero, have decided to come out with a strongly worded letter against the action of Governor Shekarau, to the Federal Government, in order to forestall future occurrences of such violence.”

The Guardian continued “The source added that apart from the Emir of Kano who presented a situation report on how the crisis in Kano erupted, other traditional rulers who lent their voices condemning the recent crises include the Emir of Zauzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris, Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Mustapha Jokolo and the Secretary-General of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Justice Abdulkadri Orire(rtd).

They all agreed that efforts must be made to ensure that there is lasting peace in the North.”

The Emir of Kano was said to have made it clear to Shekarau that “himself (Alhaji Ado Bayero) and other traditional rulers in the state were against the procession by those who converged to be addressed by the governor, because they knew that any street protest would be hijacked by hoodlums. But the governor was in favour of the procession.”

The sources stressed that the “Emir told Shekarau that he would be held responsible for the outcome of the procession. The people asked him for permission to protest the killings in Plateau State on the streets of Kano.”

CALLS FOR ELECTION POSTPONEMENT – DIVERSIONARY
Nigerians should also bear in mind that any call for the postponement of the election is sponsored by the PDP to enable them perfect their strategy of unleashing violence as we have seen from the PDP's recent sponsorship of violence against its own Presidential campaign in Katsina and Bauchi states. These are states with PDP incumbent governors yet none of the perpetrators of the violence have been arrested and prosecuted. Unfortunately, the PDP has sponsored news reports claiming that the APC was responsible for the violence.

In order to instigate an orgy of retaliatory violence to use as excuse for postponing the Presidential election, the PDP sponsored an attack against the Secretariat of the APC governorship candidate in Bauchi State in the evening of January 23rd, 2015. Nigerians should not be surprised when they see an escalation in violence against both PDP and APC assets sponsored by the PDP as the election draws closer. When Nigerians see these occurrences, they should hold the PDP responsible.

Latest news reports indicate that the PDP's campaign team having realized that the momentum has shifted in General Buhari's favor have advised President Jonathan to push for a shift of the election to July 2015 by which time the incorruptible INEC Chairman's tenure would have lapsed. Then Jonathan would appoint a corrupt PDP puppet as the INEC Chairman to help the PDP implement its massive rigging strategy.

Based on the foregoing, it is safe to conclude that the PDP is a terrorist party that promotes terrorism, brigandage and genocide. Nigerian voters should remember these facts as they cast their vote in the Presidential election of February, 14, 2015.
