BUHARI'S RESIDENTIAL GAMBLE

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Choice of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as its presidential candidate is an attempt to Set up Nigeria in flames and carve a separate Nation out of its 6 geopolitical zones. Even though senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his love for Gen. Buhari will fight hard for the southwest geopolitical zone to become part of the Northern caliphate but I am sure real seasoned southwestern politicians like Chief Olu Falae, Chief Adebanjo etc will scuttle such a ridiculous and preposterous amalgamation.

But inspite of all odds, senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu picked APC's worst presidential aspirant, Gen. Buhari for his destructive, fundamentalist and genetic inflexibility which are demonic characteristics adored by Buhari's northern mob who regard him as a prophet and the voice of God.

Gen Muhammadu Buhari is an epitome of violence, destruction, chaos, confusion and anarchy both in his character, words, actions and mien. He looks it, he encapsulates it and he wears anarchy like a garment which he has vowed never to put down even after 30 years of a disgraceful exit from the army. Gen. Buhari is a man who does not shroud his personality under innuendoes and shibboleths. He dares the world with impunity and after his monkey and baboon speech of May 14, 2012; he challenged President Goodluck Jonathan to arrest him if he could. In the aforementioned speech Gen. Muhammadu Buhari thundered thus. “God willing by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgrace way. If what happened in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the monkey and the baboon would all be soaked in blood”. With a clenched fist the General spoke in a characteristic pugnacious and garrulous style while receiving a delegation of members of his Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) from Niger Delta.

Gen. Buhari whose oral English is just below average has spoken from his heart and Buhari even though not a stammerer is very economical with words.

His “monkey and baboon” speech can be split into 3 parts. (1) They either conduct a free and fair election or (2) something will happen-they go a very disgraceful way (3) the monkey and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan since coming to power in 2010 has used the conduct of free, fair and eloquently transparent conduct of election as his main cardinal point of governance. The President has even gone on solo campaigns to sensitize Nigerians on the democratic beauty of free, fair and transparent elections.

The problem with Muhammadu Buhari is not the conduct of a free, fair or transparent election, it is his will to win every election. Buhari's problem is his innate and genetic inflexibility, a total hatred and rejection of western education, a morbid streak of a jihadist Islamist fundamentalism and a consistent and undemocratic rejection of any election result he does not win. He dismissed all previous presidential elections he partook in, as rigged and unfair. He went to court, incited his co-Northern Islamic fundamentalists and the mobs went into a vandalisations spree.

In the 2nd aspect of his venomous speech Buhari confirmed that something will happen and they will go a disgraceful way. But unfortunately Buhari did not disclosed the nature of this “something that will happen” Is it a coup-de-tat? Is it a unilateral declaration of a jihadist war against the south? Is it a declaration of a split between the North and the south? In such a split is Tinubu's southwest which has been in the forefront of a Northern president become part of Northern Nigeria? Or is Gen. Muhammadu Buhari planning an invasion from his Arab sponsors-Saudi Arabia and Iran.

President Jonathan has been warned again just like he was by Lawal Keita in 2010 that if he won the April 16th 2011 Presidential election, the North would make Nigeria ungovernable for him. And of ocurse if not for Gods divine protection boko haram, Lawal Keita and his northern elites and high ranking Emirs and spiritual Heads would have taken over Nigeria with America's assistance and delight.

How very safe can the President even be when he has surrounded himself with moles of undependable character? President Goodluck Jonathan should ask OBJ who surrounded himself with only his own tribes men from the Inspector General of Police to his kitchen staff.

President Goodluck Jonathan did not arrest Lawal Keita in 2011 neither did he arrest Buhari even when Buhari dared the president to arrest him after his monkey and baboon speech in 2012. And since then several Northern political like el Rufai and Junaid Mohammed have dared the president to arrest them after demonizing the president or making libelous or treasonable statements.

Gen. Buhari also concluded that the “monkey and the baboon will be soaked in blood” By this Buhari means that it will be a national war as the southern monkeys who “sweat and work” for the economic prosperity of Nigeria will be soaked in blood with their Northern baboons who only “chop” where they did not sow.

On May 17, 2011 the Arewa Youth Forum condemned Gen Buhari's “monkey and baboon” speech as “treasonable, unguided and uncalled for”. The then group's president, Abdukareem Tijani further stressed that “Buhari by the statement he made before the election in 2011 precipitated the violence that followed the 2011 presidential election and till now Nigeria has not recovered from the same”. Buhari's 2011 speech just before the 2011 Presidential election was the one in which he harangued his mamouth followers in Kano and told them to physically fight for their votes if they were robbed of their votes by the INEC official. And after the election Buhari told his fanatic mobs that he was robbed. And since then the prefunded and reequipped boko haram has made Nigeria ungovernable for President Jonathan.

Most Nigerians have either chosen to ignore Gen. Buhari's Islamic fundamentalist militarism or contrived assiduously to hide it under the cloak and passage of time. Gen. Buhari has never hidden his disdain for non-Moslems whom he refers to as infidels. His advocacy for the total implementation of the Sharia Law is encapsulated in this speech he delivered to a cheering crowd of Islamic Scholars and clerics in August 2001 in a seminar organized by the Supreme Council of Sharia in Kaduna. He gingered his audience thus, “I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God willing we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country. It is a legal responsibility which God has given us within the context of one Nigeria to continue to uphold on the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly and to educate non-Moslems that they have nothing to fear. What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to implement the full implementation of the Shaira laws”.

This is vintage Buhari. I have decided to quote Gen. Buhari's Sharia speech verbatim so that Gen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his co-travelers will spare Nigeria the Buhari-inspired cataclysm that is about to happen. I am not a prophet of doom but Gen. Buhari means every syllable of his speech and will executive the “responsibility good has given us”. And God will never spare senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu wherever he may be if Buhari perchance wins this forthcoming election.

The August 2001 seminar appointed committees to ensure that the basic tenets of the Sharia legal framework was achievable throughout Nigeria by the relevant amendment to the Nigerian constitution.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is surely a disaster waiting to explode on Nigeria if Nigeria either by omission or commission vote for him.

It is no longer news that Gen. Buhari truncated Nigeria's nascent democracy in Dec. 1983 by violently overthrowing Alhaji Shehu Shagari's regime which was democratically elected by popular will. Gen. Buhari was also disgraced with shame and ignominy when he was overthrown in a place coup in August 1985. General Buhari has no sense of pride, integrity and honour if not how can a man who fought against democracy and its principles now want to be a vanguard for democracy.

General Buhari's sense of justice and equity is as jaundiced and warped as his sense of secular reasoning. With this partisanship, General Buhari sent Vice President Chief Alex Ekweme to maximum prison where one of Nigeria's greatest living patriots was subjected to the travails and rigors of a common criminal while he kept President Shehu Shagari in the Comfort of his Ikoyi palace in the name of house arrest.

Buhari partisanly detained in prison southern governors including Chief Bisi Onabanjo, Bola Ige, Lateef Jakande, Adekunle Ajasin, Jim Nwobodo, Aper Aku, Sam Mbakwe, Busari Adelakun and later sent them to his state controlled courts where some of them were jailed for as much as 144 years. Governors Aper Aku and Busari Adelakun both died in prison due to excessive maltreatment. Ambrose Alli the then darling governor of the Old Bendel state went blind in prison and died immediately he was released due to deteriorating health Gov. Sam Mbakwe, the weeping governor who was even more upright and more anti-corruption than our self styled pseudo anti- corruption angel, was among one of those who had the greatest blow. Governor Mbakwe was discharged and acquitted by the courts but was sent to prison detention by virtue of Buhari's draconian and all powerful decree 4 of 1984. Gov. Sam Mbakwe survived prison but died immediately after General Buhari did not stop there. He went to Chief Obafemi Awolowo residence in Park Lane Road, Apapa. Intruded into the Old man's privacy with great and unparalled force.

Questioned the old Sage for several days before seizing his passport and banning him from traveling out of Nigeria even when no fault was found in him. Of course the trauma of Gen. Buhari's harassment must have caused the Old Sage to ponder his transgression to warrant such an unwarranted intimidation, persecution and humiliation.

And I am told that the Awolowo house hold in Ikenne has embraced APC party for which Gen. Buhari is the presidential candidate. Will the people of Ogun, Oyo, Lagos, Ondo, Anambra, Benue/Plateau, Imo etc. easily forgive Buhari's high handed wickedness in sending their beloved governors to Nigeria's common prisons.

Nigerians have a very short memory and we should be ready to build more prisons than industries, more court rooms than factories, more Sharia Courts all over the country than schools and train more lawyers and Sharia advocates than engineers if Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is rigged into power by Muhammadu Jega's INEC..

His list of those he detained without reason includes Tai Solarin, Dim Emeka Ojukwu, Oba Okunade Sijuade the Oni of Ife, Kolawole Awotunde of the Nigerian Tribune etc.

He jailed Nduka Irabor and Tunde Thompson for writing the truth which his government did not approve. As a back up to decree 4 of 1984, Gen. Buhari told the whole world that “It does not matter whether the story reported by journalists was true or not, if my regime does not like it, the writer would go to jail”. And with this, insentivity and inflexibility Gen. Buhari sent our erudite journalists Tunde Thompson and Nduka Irabor to jail for publishing the truth about Buhari's lopsided diplomatic postings.

Gen. Buhari killed Batholomew Owo, Bernard Ogedengbe and Lawal Ojuolape for drug and other related offences with a retroactive law inspite of pleas from human rights organizations in Nigeria and all over the world.

Of course the whole world knows that Gen. Buhari Anti corruptin stance is a charade and a documented incongruity. The story was told by Late Group Captain Usman Jibrin how Gen. Buhari brought in some men including his son-in-law the late Ahmad Salihijo into a petroleum Trust Firmed Boardroom Meeting without the knowledge of other trustees of the PTF. When asked by other Trustees what the young men were doing in a PTF Board meeting Gen. Buhari lied that they were there to take notes of the meeting's minutes for him. But when the late Group Captain found out that late Salihijo and the other young men were employed by Buhari as consultants without any employment letters and Board approvals he resigned from the PTF. And when President Olusegun Obasanjo set up the Haroun Adamu probe panel, a whooping N25BN could not be accounted for by Buhari's PTF. This missing funds were traced to these Buhari's consultants and OBJ was prevailed upon to close the case file to protect the integrity of his former petroleum minister. Please see Sunday Trust Oct. 17, 2009 for Group Captain Usman Jibrins version of how Mr. Righteous was de-hooded.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is a liar, blackmailer, fraud, as corrupt as any corrupt former leader and very unpatriotic. Gen. Buhari is a serial liar because he knew ab initio that he neither had a primary school certificate nor secondary school certificate.

He contested for the presidential election in 2003, 2007 and 2011 and swore to an affidavit that all documents demanded therein were attached to the form. But no certificates were attached to those forms even for the forms for 2015. This tantamounts to perjury and a flagrant violation of the 1999 Federal Constitution of Nigeria. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari should be investigated how he entered the Nigerian Army without any certificate. And with impunity and a very unrepentant mien he tells a shocked and incredulous Nigeria that all his original certificates are with the Nigerian military Board. Is the military Board retaining his certificates because he was under a certificate forgery investigation. Or does it mean that all retired Generals submit their certificates to the Military Board.

Gen. Buhari's blatant and unabashed chicaneries are highly unacceptable and un-presidential and are inevitably greatly inimical to his chances of becoming Nigeria's next President.

But Gen. Buhari's greatest crime against Nigeria is his blackmail over the issue of boko haram. For Gen. Buhari to campaign all over Nigeria that insecurity will be a thing of the past if elected president shows clearly that he has foreknowledge of the boko haram debacle.

When boko haram agreed to dialogue with the Federal Government, boko haram chose Gen. Buhari as the only Nigerian they trusted and who can safeguard their interests. But because the masquerade was unmasked in the market Gen. Buhari turned down the golden chance to end boko haram insurgency because he did not want the President Jonathan regime to have a peaceful reign.

Immediately after the boko haram revelation Gen. Buhari contrived a “shooting spree” in Kaduna to convince credulous Nigerians that boko haram wanted him dead. Its a tale for the marines full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

It was no news therefore when the incompetent half baked Buhari Campaign Organization elatedly announced to the world that another Terrorist organization had endorsed Gen. Buhari's Presidential Candidature. And this terrorist organization is a non existent relic of the former Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND). If the Gen. Buhari Campaign Organization had intellectual corps of officers, they would not have applauded their tigritude but bury their heads in shame for being endorsed by a terrorist group whose recalcitrant leader is in a South African Prison for crimes against his father land and South Africa.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has now been fully endorsed by MEND and tacitly by boko haram and Nigerians are still smiling. But I am sure these smiles will stop when Al Qaeda and ISIS send in their endorsements for our great righteous “pope” – Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

But before I end this piece, can the “pious” General confirm his source of funding. Is it from Saudi Arabia or Iran? For these two countries will benefit prodigiously from a fully Islamized and Sharianised Nigeria which is a “legal responsibility which God has given Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to execute within the context of one Nigeria”.

God forbid!
