Nigerian Troops Repel Boko Haram Attacks In Borno Town

BEVERLY HILLS, January 14, (THEWILL) – Nigerian troops early Wednesday foiled a Boko Haram attack in Biu, Borno State, North Eastern Nigeria, killing several gunmen, that tried to overrun a military barrack.

Residents said scores of Boko Haram militants in at least 10 pickups and two motorcycles attempted to capture the town.

The Nigerian Defense Headquarters said five terrorists and two anti-aircraft guns were captured after a two-hour gunfight.
