Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has warned Petrol Station owners in the State against hoarding Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol.

The governor, who gave this warning in a statement issued by Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said any Petrol Station found to be hoarding PMS and other petroleum products will be shut down for two months.

The governor said it was inhuman for owners of petrol stations to be inflicting hardship on the people just to make high profit for themselves, adding that NUPENG had already suspended its strike action and that there will not be scarcity of petroleum products.

Governor Fayose said he will be visiting Petrol Stations in the State from today to ensure compliance with his directive.
