Darius Emerges Taraba PDP Guber Candidate

Immediate past Minister of Niger Delta, Ishaku Darius late Thursday night emerged Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Taraba State.

At the primary election which held at the party's national secretariat, Abuja, Darius polled 170 votes to emerge winner.

Shortly before voting began, two aspirants, immediate past deputy governor, Alhaji Garba Umar and Mr. John Musa stepped down for Darius.

However, a former director of accounts at the National Assembly, Chief David Kente stormed out of the venue.
