How APC's voter's card “production company” in Lagos was busted By DSS
Fresh facts have emerged as to how a house where the All Progressive Concress (APC), used as a base for hacking into the datat base of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was busted by the Department of State Security ( DSS) .
Pointblanknews.com gathered that trouble started for the APC when one of its agents was apprehended by citizens on a Lagos street with a huge carry all bag called Ghana must go.
However, before the citizens arrest, the service had placed on surveillance this very property located on Allen Avenue , sequel to a petition alleging some nefarious or suspicious activities going on there.
The young man probably in his 30′s whose name could not be ascertained at press time, is believed to be related to a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla, representing Mushin constituency 2 in Lagos. Ayinla aka BYA is a close ally of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and had been in the House since 2003 at the behest of Tinubu.
According to our source, the young man was stopped, apparently following a tip off, close the ' voter's card factory' at No 10 Bola Ajibola street, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. After a brief scuffle, he was overpowered and dispossessed of the bag containing cloned voters cards.
The man was later taken to Itire police station where the DSS was alerted. They later raided the property and made some shocking find. According to DSS's spokeswoman, Marilyn Ogar “On 22nd November, 2014, a search operation was executed at the above address were a Search Warrant obtained from the Court was executed. The search was carried out in the presence of one Onuchukwu Chika AUGUSTINE and twenty four (24) others, while and the following items were recovered: One server, Four hard drives, One external hard drive, One HP Laptop, One Server switch, Fourflash drives, One Samsung tablet, One Apple computer system without CPU and thirty one Ghana-must-go bags containing hard copies of already captured data.”
She added that “All items recovered were documented at the back of the Search Warrant signed by the Service team leader and was witnessed by two occupants of the premises; Onuchukwu Chika Augustine, an IT personnel and Olaposi Fayemi, a supervisor on duty.”
The statement also disclosed that photographs (still and video) of service personnel entering and exiting the premises in an operation that lasted for two hours were taken.
“Exploitation of some of the recovered items has revealed that one particular individual had his data captured eighteen times with different names and addresses but yet the same photograph. However, further investigation is ongoing and findings shall be made public,” it added.
However the APC is crying foul. Spokesman, Lai Mohammed said ” “Saturday's attack is another one in the string of attacks and illegal actions of the PDP-led administration. The attack was unwarranted and unjustifiable. To attack one of the offices of the opposition party, APC, where legitimate operations of the party were being undertaken is an act of fascism and totalitarianism. To the point of brigandage, the invasion of the APC centre is an assault on the APC and its entire membership across the country. It must not go unpunished,” APC said. The party said though it had been tipped off about an impending attack on the 'secret warehouse' of our leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ”we dismissed such plan because there was no 'secret warehouse' anywhere and also because we never imagined that the government will attack the offices of an opposition party in a constitutional democracy. Obviously we under-estimated the desperation of the Jonathan Administration and its worsening proclivity to impunity.”
