Gaidam Swears-In New PERMSECS, Khadi

To ensure effective and efficient service delivery to the people, Governor Ibrahim Gaidam swore-in the new Permanent Secretaries and a Khadi who will be deployed to ministries, Boards and Parastatals in the state. Those sworn in are Khadi Abubakar Mahdi of the State Sharia Court of Appeal, Ustaz Babagana Mallam Kyari, former Special Adviser to Governor Gaidam on Religious Affairs, Alhaji Tijjani Yusuf and Alhaji Goni Ibrahim.


The governor while congratulating the new Permanent Secretaries and the new Khadi after their oath of office and allegiance was administerd said the appointment of Khadi Abubakar Mahdi is a statutory requirement of the National Judicial Commission which enabled him under section 276 (2) of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria , adding that the appointment was well -deserved.

He disclosed that his administration has been working on the list for months to ensure transparency and merit, pointing out that the new Permanent Secretaries were appointed on merit.

Gaidam enjoined them to ensure speedy dispensation of justice and enhancement of general welfare and living standard of civil servants in the state.

Responding on behalf of the others, Ustaz Babagana Kyari appreciated the governor for the appointment and pledged their loyalty to the state government and promised to perform their responsibilities with fairness devoid of corruption or ethnic and religious considerations.
