COURT DID NOT STOP CAPT IHENACHO’S SCREENING

The attention of our principal, the former Minister of Interior Hon. Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho and his campaign organisation has been drawn to some rumours making the rounds and a publication in Trumpeta newspaper of November 20 2014 that a certain High Court in Imo State has given a judgement disqualifying/stopping the former minister from contesting the 2014 Imo State Governorship Primary Election under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The rumour also has it that there is a court order stopping the former minister from being screened as a governorship aspirant by the APGA.

Our principal has not been served with process of any law suit or court order as alleged. Also from our findings, there is no court judgment or order by any court.

We are aware that there have been sponsored falsehood and destructive propaganda by some political opponents of our principal who are so threatened by our principal's increasing acceptability by the Imo masses. But our principal as a mature, godly and civilized person has forgiven them and extends his good regards to them.

If our principal does not have the chance of winning the 2015 governorship election in Imo State he would not have become a centre of attraction now.

'For gold to be pure, it has to go through fire'. Thought the coast to success is very clear yet the challenges on it are well appreciated.

Therefore, we are not surprised as these are the usual political antics/intrigues in this part of the world. There may be more of them along the line but they will not stop anything. No matter the antics of detractors, our principal will come out of the APGA primaries election and the general election stronger and victorious.

Therefore, we urge the general public to disregard the rumour and media hype as they are cheap falsehood, politically motivated and sponsored by persons who do not have any programme to sell to the public except feeding the masses with lies.

We also reassure our principal's teaming supporters and the general public that there is no cause for alarm.
