The orgasnisation described Chief Ikiogha as a prudent and charismatic leader, pointing out that he performed excellently during his tenure as Chief of Staff to Governor Henry Seriake Dickson and in other capacities.

It lauded the former Chief of Staff for facilitating the inclusion of non- indigenes in the affairs of the State, under the administration of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson, which it said appointed non-indigenes into public offices in the State.

The Ohaneze Indigbo, during the visit decorated Chief Diekivie Ikiogha as its Patron, and assured him of block votes in the general election, reiterating thtat Igbos in the State will continue to support the Restoration Agenda of Governor Dickson.

He assured that when elected, the constituents and non-indigenes resident in the constituency will benefit immensely from his programmes, adding that as a former political office holder in Bayelsa State, he would liaise with Governor Dickson to promote development in the State.

He also re-assured non-indigenes about plans by the Governor to implement other programmes that would make them to have more sense of belonging in the State, restating that already, a trading programme to be steered by the Igbos in Swali Market, was already on board.

Chief Ikiogha, further enumerated provision of peaceful atmosphere for business operators, extension of the State's scholarship scheme and plans to allow children of non-indigenes to benefit from the on-coming boarding schools in the State as more hospitality to non-indigenes, by the Dickson administration.

The PDP aspirant, therefore, called on non-indigenes in the State to be more united and support his House of Representatives aspiration as well as programmes of the State Government in order to benefit from them.
