Taraba Guber: My Kobo Advice For David Sabo Kente DSK

Sir, the decision to write this latest epistle was reached after

watching the bizarre movie that was acted by you and your fellow

supporters, produced and directed by very senior Director General of

your seemingly formidable campaing organisation,"DSK PROJECT

2015" Sen. Abdullaziz Ibrahim.
Let me confess that no
scriptwriter would have visualised such melodrama on any regular day.

If anyone had ever suggested that such a humiliating scenario would

occure in your camp,we would have dismissed it as a product of cruel

imagination or lunacy. But we saw this one before our very eyes and

became stupefied to say the least.
Chief David Sabo Kente who I will subsequently refer to as DSK had

make some graveous mistakes during his quest to pick the PDP ticket to

represent southern Taraba State come 2015 general election.

Sir,permit me at this juncture to highlight some of the terminal

mistakes made by DSK and his embattled campaign team after, the former

Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs Arch. Darius Ishaku was

decleared as PDP consensus governorship candidate for the southern

Taraba State geo political zone,by Chief D.S. Nyapuri led committee.

Sir,one of the costliest mistake you ever made was to have allowed

your relationship with a veteran of many wars Gen.T.Y Danjuma to turn

sour and degenerate to the level fisticuffs. DSK it is a battle you

cant afford to fight because you have no chance of winning it at the

end of the day. The second mistake was the manner
your acolytes exposed your desperate ambition of becoming the next

governor of Taraba State prematurely. It was totally unnecessary. As

an African, you must be aware of the adage that "a wise man always

keeps the name of his impending baby to himself untill after his wife

delivers". The manner your campaign team have been threatening

hellfire if Nyapuri led committee fail to pick you as a consensus

candidate has been very rude, crude and outlandishly provocative. The

third mistake is the commonest in all wars known to mankind. Sir,you

opened up your flanks by fighting too many people on too many fronts.

DSK,it is only a poor General does that. In the haste to crush the

rebellion of your co contenders as well as your implacable enemies, you

got sucked in because you were stupendously engaged in too many

directions. This was bound to take its toll on you and your

combatants, coupled with the obvious fact that you underrated your

opponents. That is ussually a regrettable strategy in guerrilla

warfare.
If I were DSK,I would have tactical withdrawed from the race, dropped

my ambition and thrown my weight behind Arch. Darius Ishaku just as

Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha and others did. If I were DSK I would accept the

decision of Chief D.S Nyapuri led committee on the fact that the

action of the servant is the action of the master. If I were DSK I

would have invite Arch. Darius Ishaku into a room and embrace him

warts and all.
DSK, my kobo advice for you is to put the matter behind as quickly as

possible and forgive even if you cannot forget. It is sad that you

apparently did not envisage the tragedy that was going to befall your

camp and tear your members asunder.
Finally,I wish to assure you DSK that,it is not an act of timidity to

seek peace with Gen. T.Y Danjuma whom many considered as a national

elder-stateman and distinguished military General of Taraba State

extraction,a man who truely believes in the unity of the State and

Nigeria as a whole.
I rest my pen for now.
