Nigeria's foremost online sector-based news and business intelligence platform, Bizwatchnigeria.ng, last week, partnered with Singapore-based corporate events and HR training company, Salvo Global, on a 2-part Master Class seminar series tailored to further boost the adoption of best practices in Nigerian businesses.

The Classes took place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The first of the Master Classes, Total Project Risk and Contract Management, which lasted for three days, started on Monday, October 13 and ended on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, while the second, Integrated Project Control, commenced on Thursday, October 16 and ended on Friday, October 17.

The trainer, Mr. Frank Parth, President of Project Auditors and past member of Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a professional with over 30 years' experience in Project and Programme Management, speaking to Bizwatchnigeria before the trainings, said the classes will provide in-depth knowledge of the subject of Project Risk Management Cycle and effective methods of identifying, prioritising and assessing risks.

Throwing light on the second Class, Integrated Project Control, Mr Parth noted that participants will become abreast with control processes during execution of projects, and understand the criticality of integrated control, as well as the appropriate metrics for projects, amongst other things.

Commenting on the partnership with Salvo Global, Editor-in-Chief of Bizwatchnigeria.ng, Mr. Elcee McEdwards, said the partnership is a media partnership which goes to underscore the platform's determination to add value to the Nigerian business and economic environment. “While providing quality business intelligence to our visitors that cut across different business sectors, we will always support any course that will further the course of doing business in Nigeria,” Mr. McEdwards said, noting that the pre-occupation of Bizwatchnigeria is to offer a top-of-the-range online platform that will serve as a point of recourse for upwardly mobile young men and women, as well as business executives playing in the various sectors of the Nigerian economy.

It would be recalled that this is not the first time Bizwatchnigeria.ng will be partnering with Salvo Global, as they have collaborated on five of such seminars since the start of 2014.
