The Chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja, Mr. Tsambido Hosea Abana, has confirmed that the freed girl suspected to be one of the 219 schoolgirls, who have been held captive by Boko Haram since their abduction almost six months ago, has been transferred by the security agencies to Abuja.. The girl, who identified herself as Susan Ishaya was found in Mubi, Adamawa State last week, after she was abandoned by members of the sect.. Abana, while responding to enquiries from THISDAY yesterday, confirmed that Ishaya was brought to Abuja on Saturday, and that she had since been in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).. Abana however could also not confirm whether the girl has been identified as one of the 219 girls kidnapped on April 14 from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno State.. The Chibok leader also could not comment on Susan's health or her means of transportation to Abuja.. 'I don’t have details for now. All I know is that she is in Abuja now; she is in the custody of the DIA. I have not seen her since she was brought into the city,' he said.. Abana had last week disclosed to THISDAY that the girl had been psychologically and physically traumatised by her abductors. Thisday .
