The representative of the zonal director said that the bankers committee in the state is ready to sponsor students to be involved in the programme adding that with N5,000 students are trained to be able to be entrepreneurs on their own instead of waiting for white collared job when they graduate.

He called on retirees to come and benefit from the programme instead of stitting down waiting for their paltry pensions after serving the country in whatever capacity.

Responding General manager Peace FM praised the initiativen which he noted is geared towards changing the fortunes of young people in the country.

According to him, such a programme will reduce anti social vices such as drug addiction which is common among young people in the state and the zone.

He called on the organization to spread their tentacles so that the message of employment will go all round instead of staying within a restricted group of people and their friends.

"The peace FM will surely support you because what you are doing will bring peace and progress ro the state" he observed

The main focus of the EDC is to train young people to get into self employment through a two months class and internship after training.

They resultantly link successful trainees with financial institutions mostly micro finance and commercial banks to get the necessary capital to take off in their desired business venture.
