Latest on E-11 Suit Against Fayose

Justice Ogunyemi's ruling of Monday in which he assumed jurisdiction of the Suit filed by E-11, challenging Ekiti Governor-Elect, Ayodele Fayose's eligibility to contest the June 21, 2014 governorship election has been appealed by respondents to the suit.

The appeal and stay of proceeding of the suit was filed in Ado-Ekiti this morning.

By this action, hearing on the substantive suit will have to be suspended pending the determination of the application for stay of proceeding.
